I hate how some say, "I hate this character, he/she didn't do anything! He/she needs to stick up for herself! He/she..." And blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Really, does it matter?!

(Sorry, ranting again! XD) Besides, that's just Cinderella's character. Always kind and gentle and soft-spoken. :-)

I think she didn't do that cause she was the wife of her father and her father and she might believe that her father wants her to stay as a kind lady no matter how they treat her

I think modern viewers tend to be pretty pampered and privileged to the point that they don't seem to understand how oppression works (or sometimes even abuse somehow). You don't *get* a choice in how you're treated. You get punished for speaking against it. It's also just basic common sense- women's shelters and police don't exist; women can't get jobs for themselves and if you didn't have family or a husband to care for you you were screwed. I honestly don't know what it is people expect her to do.

Actually she is just softer and too kind. But she has her thoughts and she would do it.
Watch the Cinderella 2 and 3 then u will find out
