Belle, Ariel, Snow White, Pocahontas, Tiana.... they're all pretty! I don't think Rapunzel is pretty, only looks okay not from front view. Merida is cute not as beautiful as Belle.

The 3D princesses don't look realistic, neither Rapunzel or Merida. They look more cartoony than the 2D princesses.

i know lots of people are gonna choose 2D but i mean her the things: 3D can portray very realisticly the background, the expressions of each character not mention about the sunlight, tree and nature. I love both 2D and 3D equally, i don't think 3D princesses aren't that bad, i think they're amazing. Don't think that a 3D princess is bad you gotta look on the whole things and trust me 2D and 3D are both AWESOME.

Both~! Both can be equally as pretty or equally as ugly~! Just depends on the Princess. Rapunzel is Beautiful to me but Merida is not. Belle is Beautiful but Mulan is not IMO.

All the 2D princesses are beautiful. The 3D princesses only look cute and pretty to me, but not beautiful and gorgeous like the 2D princesses.

I think the 2D princesses look more realistic than the 3D ones, which makes them seem prettier.

2D in general just look so much better... (not just DP), there's an elegance and magic to the style that CGI seems to lack.

Also the animation in each, or at least most, 2D movies has an 'original' feel to it whereas the majority of CGI movies feel the same to me (just the animation btw, not the plots)

I don't see where the hate directed at CGI comes from to be honest. Granted, there are poorly animated, mediocre motion pictures that didn't have enough effort put into their making with the medium and all it's dimentions used properly and elaborately, however, Tangled and Brave were gorgeous movies with variety of visually stunning sceneries and craftly animated detailed facial expressions. With that said 2D medium has it's own beauty that will never be replaced.
