Best movie (in my opinon x3) But i agree....i dont like the newer Disney (films and shows) I miss the old animation and all that good stuff.... Do YOU guys see any new Mickey Mouse Movies? saturnine15 Trazan is when it started going downhill. Who picks phil collins to do music for a kid's movie? seriously. This whole topic infuriates me. I'm 24 now and I remember these movies being so spectacular to me as a child. The hunchback of notre dame was and is my absolute favorite. Now I just feel like every single movie is another madagascar and you neednt watch any others because theyre all the same empty crap. I miss music. I liked the old animation, but I have no issues with computer animated stuff. I think it is a fantastic medium. I just think they should actually use it to make something worthwhile for once in almost 15 years.

AllegroGiocoso Ever since the mid-end of the Renaissance, if you ask me, Disney is going on a slow decline. I am happily satisfied with The Princess and the Frog though, hopefully they could make more like that one.

Arielsvoice I think it went downhill from Mulan. Tarzan was half and half- I didn't like the music. I did, actually, but only one song did the character's sing themselves. The new 3D movies are okay but they don't have the same magic.

Mongoose09 I liked Tarzan and Brother Bear. I think Brother Bear is the most underrated Disney movie of all time. People seem to think "Oh it's made in the 2000's so I won't see it as it'll be rubbish" or they have this weird idea in their head while they're watching it that because it's a new disney film, it won't live up to the classics so they shouldn't pay much attention to it. I grew up with the classics. My favourite movies are Hercules, Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella. But I have to say that I LOVE Brother Bear and wish people would just give it a chance.

is67 disney is not what it was before. after the lion king (imo) disney went down south. some of the pixar films are good like finding nemo & toy story but most of the pixar films suck! i met someone at my school who has never seen the lion king! come on how can you not see that movie! it is the most successful non pixar film of all time! i saw patf & i was disappointed. the film imo was not memorable & the music & the characters were awful! i hate to say it but i think 2d animation is over! ):

esmeralda15 um i agree with u and i think it went down after tarzan(by the way that movie was actually really good) but some people think it was mulan because that movie had some laughing in it but that doesn't mean it is a terrible movie! Mulan had a message of honor, love, and following ur heart. Mulan is and still my favorite movie of all time!

believe100 Disney has always been making stunning movies from the magical Snow White to the recent Rapunzel. Disney has recently been seen to have lost its magic probably becuse they are too "hip", but Disney has to adapt to its time. If they were to keep making movies like it did 20+ years ago they would not sell, because unfortunately its target audiences have evolved far beyond that merit. Disney has to constantly reinvent itself and always try to be innovative, because even such a magical company cannot overcome the need to advance in technology. But even the most recent disney movies can still have as much heart as the oldest ones did, with films such as Up (pixar cllaboration of course), Meet the Robinsons, WallE, and even Sharpay's fabulous adventure. From the first movies, to the Renaissance, to pixar, to The Princess and The Frog and even to disney channel, disney has always had much more to offer than cynicism. However, I do think that Disney needs to obliterate cynicism in their movies.

thetscfan121 Why don't people see the hard work in a movie? If it's already hard to do a blockbuster, grammy award, oh-my-god-i'm-such-a-fan-of-it-all movie, try doing the plot of a movie that stinks. Really, people, at least try to do a good plot and publish it on the internet, and don't cry when people start bombing the commentaries box with "this stinks" "Not a good plot" "dude, this isn't real good."

JAWSM since Disney started making CGI films it went dooooownnnn hill.the hand drawn classics were THE BEST, they had the unique Disney style that was emotional,funny, beautiful and just plain JAWSM. and after Disney's 9 pld men died the movies got pointlessly worse.

sophizzle_m Are you including Pixar? Everyone is bringing up cars and meet the robinsons and walle. The first Pixar movie was toy story. Who remembers the villian? Zerg? He didn't show up til the sequel. As of DISNEY movies, I agree. It's completely gone down the drain. It's annoying to see new movies coming out. I miss the music especially. Listen to the music in sleeping beauty, then in tangled. Ugh.

oxokellyoxo I just watched Lone Ranger and I'm seriously fed up with disney now, I mean it's not terrible but disney has always been my absolute favourite, All dreamy and magic and funny and warm! Now there's blood and murder and endings that leave u feeling empty (Timothy Greene). When disney made tangled I thought they were really on the right like, still with the magic but more humour and girls a little less one dimensional! But now they say they are no longer going to make fairy tale kinda films and I just can't believe it!! I'm 27 and iv always loved them from a toddler but now I think they are just conforming and think that by adding more violence, less love and more cleavage to films that thy will be great! I think they are killing the dream! Total let down

Chrissybear15 Really? Ya'll think Disney is bad now? come on! Disney is the most amazing thing in the world, the movies bring me so much happiness and joy. Disney is getting better! it teaches lessons to kids in a fun way that they would understand! Like take Frozen for an example it teaches that you don't need a man to save you every time your in need and that sisters are the best. watching the movie made me wish i HAD a sister! And Tangled is amazing also it teaches that you need to stand up for yourself and follow your dreams and once you've lived your dream you make new ones along the way! All the classics are amazing as well Beauty and the Beast teaches its inner beauty that matters not the outside beauty. Brave teaches that your actions can have consequences and effect other people but there's always a way to get through it and people to help. But i agree a little bit with some stuff like most squeals arent the best in the world, but get over it! Yeah their goal is to please everyone but the mostly care about pleasing the little ones, the ones who still believe in happy endings, that prince charming does come, that good always win, and that dreams come true! They also have to alternate and modernize the movies, would you prefer film like quality like Cinderella where you cant really understand what they're saying or HD where the picture is clear and you can understand. As long as Disney keeps giving me joy and hope i'm fine with what they do. Cuz you know what i still believe not in happy endings, prince charming s, good always wins, but in dreams coming true.
