I was going to pick higher than this but I liked the icon for seven so I stuck with that. I change my mind all the time.
The concept is less so. Good intentions only get you so far though. Power corrupts- that's not just a cliche.
The Dollhouse uses their 'tools' for some pretty immoral things and not all of those things are for the clients. And those clients that they "help"- most of them could do with a stint of therapy, not a doll. Why not spend their loads of money on a good psychiatrist? lol
Thats definitely one of the reasons why it is so high for me. If it was all about volunteers who signed up for it then it would make it slightly less .... bad but after finding out about Sierra? Nope, don't like it so much.
I'm not sure why I picked six, maybe for some of the ideas behind the Dollhouse, or the breakthroughs to certain ailments these "tests" could bring. Like in that season two episode where Topher talks about the possibilities of being able to change someones physiology after causing Echo to be able to lactate and be a mother. Or for those brain dead folk, there are possibilities similar to the Paul situation.
It's all very grey to me, not a clear cut black and white.
