Solji reassures fans after news of her hyperthyroidism

Banana Culture Entertainment revealed earlier today that EXID member Solji will be taking a break from activities because of hyperthyroidism.

Of course, with the news, fans relayed their concern about the vocalist\'s health, so she has taken to Instagram to reassure them all personally.

She wrote, "Everyone!!  You were really worried, right?  I\'m going to take medication and get better quickly, so do not worry too much.  Everyone seems so shocked that I feel sorry for troubling you... It is such a shame that I can\'t stand on stage for the end of the year.  Please give lots of support to the members\' cool stage!!!  I will quickly get better to show all of you my healthy image.  Sorry for worrying you.  Thank you and I love you!!!"

hyperthyroidism actually makes you lose a lot of weight because of the overactive thyroid :) Hypothyroidism is the one that makes you gain weight because the thyroid doesn\'t work well enough!

Hopefully she can get on the right medication treatment and get her life back on track before too long.

Well, to put it in another way, it looks like EXID will have to carry out their schedules without their leader and as a quartet for the time being until Solji finally gets back to her 100% healthy self.  And also, it also looks like the group will have to perform at the year end ceremonies as a four member group and in addition, Hyerin and Junghwa will take care of Solji\'s lines in their songs.  Plus, I understand that all of the fans who are looking forward to seeing EXID at the year end ceremonies will be disappointed to see that Solji\'s not there on stage with the other members.  But I hope that they will be understanding of this regardless and look forward to EXID\'s performances nonetheless even if Solji is not there with the other girls on stage.  So yeah, we may be seeing Solji with the rest of the group at all of the year end ceremonies next year.  So for now, we shall cross our fingers, pray and absolutely hope that Solji will get back to being 100% as soon as possible.
