I don't post many negative polls anymore; I try to be positive or compare instead.

Other than the occasional 'who's your least favorite character', I can't recall making any negative picks... I tend to avoid voting on those, too. It's fanpop, not hatepop. ;D

^^ Exactly! Like I said I'll ask an occasional bottom five or a least favorite character. But most of mine veer towards 'top 5' or 'who is cooler'? I think positive polls are better in the spirit of the site.

When it's possible, I think it's best to phrase the poll positively. But sometimes you have to ask it in a negative way, e.g. "which of these antagonists was the worst villain?"

Can't think of any negative polls I've done, off the top of my head, although I probably have done a few at some point or another. I'm not really into negative stuff though tbh so I guess I just don't bother with many negative polls because the results probably wouldn't interest me. XD

@Flicker I agree I'd much rather phrase it in the positive way.

Majority positive, but occasionally I'll do negative ones, like "least favorite song of this artist's new album" or something like that. Sorry, can't help the curiosity to see if there's an agreed upon least favorite thing.

The vast majority have been positive, but I have occasionally asked polls like "which criticism do you think is most valid?" or "what is your main reason for disliking this character or rival ship?" (and with those, I added an "I don't dislike..." option).
