Its true, I rate it only if I like it, but I preferred being able to decide if its a Good point or an Okay one, or an exellent one, otherwise I wouldn't rate it at all.

Even with the old system, if I didn't like smth I just didn't rate, so, nothing will change.

If I wouldn't have rated it a 4 or 5 on the old system, I'm not a 'fan of it'.

i rarely rated low..i prefer reporting :P

i very rarely rated something 1* or 2*..then i didnt rate at all so i guess it will stay the same more or less.

I'm becoming a fan of the stuff I view because I like them so I guess it will be about the same anyways. The stuff I liked and viewed I rated highly anyway so becoming a fan of it's my way of saying 5 stars :D

Yeah same with DarkSarcasm. If I rate everything I feel unfair to those who pay attention submitting quality stuff.

I'm rating significantly less. Dropped from around between 500 - 1,000 ratings a day to about 20 in total since the system switched over. I'm only "fanning" things that I would have normally rated 5 stars.
I'm also really annoyed that I can't un-fan things. I have mistakenly fanned things that I just instinctually went to rate a 2 (because it was crap, uncredited and un-keyworded). But now I'm a "fan" of it.
I'm really confused about how to rate now. I feel bad that I'm not "fanning", but its content that I would never have given 4 or 5 starts to in the past.
