I started watching at the end of S2 when I already knew that they wouldn't be a couple and rewatched first 2 seasons later...but if Merder weren't together, my second choice for Mer would probably be George :p They'd make a cute couple <3 :D Poor George, he didn't have much luck with love...even later I wanted him to at least try with Lexie, they'd be good too...but I didn't get to see that either
