I won't remember him for that personally, but it was a controversial role and most people will think of that when they think of him. Personally, I want to remember him for The Patriot and A Knight's Tale.

i think brokeback mountain was the movie that made him "the most famous" but the black knight is going to be incredible and heath it would be the last movie that he did before he died, so probably the black knight is what he will be remembered for

I loved ten things i hate about you so that's probably what I will personally remember him for but I think most will remember him for his last and iconic role as the joker.

I saw most of these movies but this one was the most memorable I think. Also the joker must be amazing

Definitely Brokeback.. For me, that is one of the best movies made in a LOOOONG time.. And him being in it, is just.. I don't even know what to say.. All I know is.. It's impossible to watch without feeling something.. That's amazing acting!

i hate to have to "remember" him like this at all...... he was an amazingly talented actor who should not have had to die at such a young age. my friend and i were talking about it all yesterday, and she told me that she cried.. i was too stunned to cry, but just now, i started crying. :'(

i will personally remember him for all of his movies, esp 10 things i hate about u. but i believe many will remember him for brokeback mountain. it was impacting, and they are even saying that specific movie on all the news reports about his death. his role as joker will probably reach out to a younger generation and let his memory live longer. Since it's his last movie. And it seems like he did a fantastic job from what I've seen from the trailers. The other most likely one would be Brokeback Mountain.

A Knight's Tale was the first movie I saw him in too. It was my favorite movie. I love it. I think he'll be remembered for Brokeback mountain but I'll always remember him for A Knight's Tale. An amazing film.

It's hard to pick just one of his films to go with here. I went with the one that I feel brought Heath international attention as the great actor that he was. Hopefully, The Dark Knight will live up to the massive expectations everyone has about it and give fans a nice denouement to Heath's storied career.

For me it's 10 Things I Hate About You and A Knight's Tale. They're when I first noticed him. And I've seen 10 Things almost 4 times since Wednesday! I saw it twice yesterday!! I still love it. I'll remember him for when he sings 'Can't take my eyes off of you'. It was hilarious and just awesome!
I'm sure he'll blow us away as the Dark Knight though.

He will be remember because of Brokeback because that was the movie that made earned him an Academy Award nomination, also The Dark Knight because it was his last movie, and 10 Things I Hate About You because it was the movie that made people started paying attention to him.

Although Brokeback maybe what he's remembered for now, I have a feeling once Batman comes out, he'll be more reconized as forever being the Joker, it was his last film and no one will forget that. I also think Batman will kill at the box office probably raking in more money then Titanic did in honor of Heath. That's just my theory though.

They had a tribute to him last night. They showed A Knight's Tale and The Patriot on tv. The hardest part was seeing him die in the Patriot. That made me cry for sure. He was such a wonderful actor!

I think people will remember him for Ennis, but everytime I saw the Batman trailer (even before his sad death) I thought that it was so well done it gave me chills and sometimes made me tear up.

i believe that people will always remember him in this movie, dead or alive, but people will never forget his last and memorable movie in batman! i will miss his great works for our benefit of entertainment!

For me A Knights Tale is his best film but I agree the Brokeback will be his lasting memory!

Even though I really would love to say 10 Things I Hate About You, I know people are going to remember him for Brokeback Mountian because is was controversial, AND he was nominated for an academy award.

The Dark Night isn't Heath's last film.. He died while still in the process of filming the movie The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.. They had other actors fill in the rest of the movie after his death, so they kept all of the work he did in the film..

This movie began filming soon after they stoped filming The Dark Knight..So Heath was very tired all of the time.. This is why he took sleeping pills...and the movie The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus had the cast out in the rain and cold..so naturally Heath got sick, and took other pills for that..the combination of the perscription drugs didn't have a good outcome as you all know..

Rest in peace Heath.. We all love you :)

it is Heath Ledger's masterpiece. he was the bad guy, yet he was so good at acting i rooted for the joker.

I think the Dark Knight is equally as memorable a performance, but honestly I was more impressed by Brokeback Mountain. There was so much press about that movie. Dark Knight I think got even more attention after his death. It's hard to say.
