Introduction to Sherpa Culture includes an ideal short trip that offers an opportunity to delight hiking in the amazing Himalayan trails of the Everest region. You can also explore Buddhist monasteries and amusing cultural traditions of the Sherpas who are residents of the Nepalese Himalayas.
The trek starts from Lukla with the trails we appreciate the beautiful Himalayan scenery and extract local traditional stories that discuss Everest’s utmost climbers who are Sherpas, artists, and even the subtle Yeti. It counts on the 10th lunar month of Tibetan calendar, based on the months of October and November, which is unexpectedly throughout the best trekking period in Nepal.
When you reach at Kathmandu, we pick you up from the airport. Then drop you off to your hotel. There you can either explore Thamel or take a rest at your hotel room whole day. In the evening, we will be organizing a welcome dinner introducing you with Nepalese food culture.
In the morning, we begin exploring several of the most historic and divine lures in Kathmandu that includes Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath and Bouddhanath, which is also one of the major stupas in the globe. After travelling different places of Kathmandu, we encounter the fellow partakers and talk about the journey.
Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2,800m/9,184ft) then trek to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft)
In the morning, you will be flying towards Lukla. After a flying above the magnificent green and white peaks, we arrive Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla. This is one of the most stunning air ways in the world terminating in a landing on a hillside enclosed by high foothills. After your entrance at Lukla, we encounter our other crew associates and after some packing and preparations, we begin our trek via the affluent village of Lukla till we arrive Phakding. To support in acclimatization, we just take a small hike today.
After breakfast, we move over stunning pine woodlands and then over Dudh Koshi River ending our beautiful trip at Namche Bazaar. After hiking for nearly over an hour, we move towards the sparkly Mt. Thamserku (6,608m) on our right and practice the calmness of pine, fir and juniper woodlands during our trip. If the weather is good, we are likely to get a glimpse of Mt. Everest gazing on the Lhotse-Nuptse edge. We start moving till we arrive the entry to Sagarmatha National Park, Namche Bazaar, the doorway to Mt. Everest and key trading center of this area.
This is the day set sideways for adaptation. Health specialists suggest that we become energetic and move over even throughout the rest day rather than staying idle. There are some choices set apart for today. We can either turn around Namche’s picturesque communities or get in touch with the Sherpa people and their amusing culture, or we can walk and adore an up-close sight of the incredible Everest.
Our path moves west together with the gorge of the Bhote Koshi Stream. The sights of the Himalayas along with Kongde Ri, Khumbi Yul La, Kusum Kanguru are eccentric. The initial community we move over is Phorte where a tree nursery was built by Sir Edmund Hillary\'s Himalayan Trust. We start together the balcony route. After moving down towards the river, we pass a bridge earlier building a steep ascent to Thame, located at a significant connection together the old primary employment way to and from Tibet through the Nangpa La (pass).
We hike to the renowned airfield of Syangboche. The Khumjung gorge is enclosed by Himalayas that includes Kongde, Thamserku and the scared Khumbila. In the Khumjung village we explore the Edmund Hillary School and Khumjung Monastery.
From Khumjung we walk to Phortse. While passing the lower slopes of Khumbila, we adore the fascinating sights of Phortse, Cholatse and Taboche, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kangtanga among others. Phortse community is situated in the Khumbu area, south of Mt. Everest.
Today’s journey begins with a tough but small ascent after which we walk gradually together with an edge to Pangboche. We travel the Pangboche Gomba through the way and view the footpaths of the Lama Sangwa Dorje. The communities of Pangboche nestle stunningly above the stepped arenas like a huge arced moon.
From Pangboche, we proceed east and join the key path of the Everest Base Camp. Then we go downhill to Tengboche, a community that lines the very renowned Tengboche monastery which is the major monastery of the Everest region. Situated amongst the Sagarmatha National Park, it is covered with the panoramic 360-degree sight of the Himalayas, that includes Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Thamserku. The monastery opens at 3:pm so we arrive there by three.
From Tengboche, we walk down over the hillside covered by rhododendron and juniper trees. After passing the appeal flag decorated bridge ovn the Dudh Koshi River our path follows the Dudh Koshi valley downward quickly over the pine woodlands earlier arriving Sansa which is a key path connection in the area. Today the path sticks to the sheer wooded hill, curving over different bends. After crossing a Chorten, we arrive the army camp at Namche Bazaar.
The trail goes downhill sharply downhill so we must walk carefully as our wobbly legs endlessly encounter the rocky land. After passing the suspension bridges on the instant curving Dudh Koshi and its branches, the path gets more close and normal. After we reach in Lukla, we stretch those painful legs and memorize the experiences of the past two weeks.
After breakfast, we take flight to Kathmandu. After arriving Kathmandu, we either rest or go for shopping. If we like travelling around Kathmandu, we can do it today. In the evening, we will be enjoying a farewell dinner.
Your journey in Nepal ends today! We will drop you to the airport, around 3 hours earlier your arranged flight.
