"So, I was thinking maybe instead of going out for our سیکنڈ تاریخ آپ would allow me to make آپ a quiet رات کے کھانے, شام کا کھانا at my place instead."
"Well, I don't know if..."
"Wow, آپ don't take your time do you? I mean one تاریخ and آپ think you've got an all access pass to ride the S.S. Cuddy."
"House, what the hell are آپ doing?" Cuddy yelled as she watched the diagnostician abruptly sit down and begin eating from her plate.
"I'm having lunch. I mean how much مزید obvious can it be."
"This was a lunch between Lisa and me. I don't remember sending آپ an invitation."
"Oh, I never get invited to Cuddy's dates. Where would the fun in that be? The best part is seeing that little line form in her forehead when I crash the party. Kind of like the one forming now."
"I'm sorry, Paul. House isn't skilled when it comes to acting like an adult."
"I can tell,"Paul کہا as he smacked House's hand away from his plate.
"Didn't your mother ever teach آپ that sharing is caring,"House کہا as he started sipping from Cuddy's coke.
"I'm sure آپ have some clinic hours to finish unless آپ would like me to add some more, یا would آپ like to be on بستر pan duty again?"
"Cuddy, آپ know what I would like to do..."
"Okay, Lisa maybe we should finish lunch somewhere, anywhere else but here," Paul the P.I. کہا as he held out his hand for her to take.
"That's sounds lovely. House, do not follow me."
"Who کہا I would. آپ want to believe that I would follow you. Hell, آپ want me to follow you."
"Don't follow me," she repeated without hesitation.
House watched as Cuddy took Paul's hand and began to walk toward the doorway. He saw Paul lean into her, whispering something in her ear. Whatever he کہا it was enough to not only make her giggle but to cling closer to him as they disappeared from the room.
House gripped his cane firmer. He rarely heard her giggle like that. He noted that she seemed less self-conscious about the public displays of affection than he would have expected. At least he didn't have to see them kiss یا anything. He cringed at the thought of Cuddy and funny looking P.I. kissing. She couldn't really like this guy. Could she?
