Cuddy decided to call House’s cell and check up on him personally. She sat there thinking of an excuse to worry یا to call. Ring. Ring. Ring. She heard it ring over and over and was getting impatient and began to worry more.
“Come on House, answer for once…” She quietly whispered to herself.
When she heard his voice mail box she groaned out loud and lay down. She sighed as her head hit the pillow.
‘Everything is fine,” she thought, ‘There is no need to worry. Maybe House is actually working, یا forced someone else to do his work. Maybe he has a case. Maybe آپ should call Wilson. He’ll make آپ feel better.’
She was tempted to bug her male friend and whine to him a little but she didn’t want to be a nuisance. Staring at the ceiling, she hadn’t noticed that she was still holding her cell.
Suddenly it began to ring again. Cuddy looked at the caller I.D. Unfortunately for her it was just her mother checking up on her. She decided to just ignore it this once. She had مزید too much on her mind and didn’t want to really talk to anyone.
Cuddy looked at the time. It was only noon, her اگلے meeting didn’t start for another 3 hours and she had nothing to do. She couldn’t enjoy New York because of her worries and she can’t relieve her worries because her employee won’t answer a single one of her calls یا even call her back.
Her phone began to ring again. The ringing had startled her as she glanced at the caller I.D. It was her mother again. She groaned as she admitted defeat. She had known her mother enough to know that if she really wanted to talk to her, she wouldn’t stop calling for at least 5 hours.
“Hello?” Cuddy answered in a grumpy tone.
“Lisa… this is mom.” She said, as if Cuddy didn’t know how to read caller I.D.
“Hello, mom. What do آپ need?” Cuddy tried to sound as pleasant as possible.
“I’m in Boston and I was listening to the news on the radio.”
Cuddy could hear the background and new her mother was probably in the car. The word “radio” also gave a big hint, since the only thinks her mother could do with the radio at ہوم was, well anything but listen to it.
“Oh really? That’s great. Any good news?” Cuddy asked.
“No not really,” Her mother was starting to sound fuzzy, “Lisa…you…me…”
Lisa could barely understand what her mother was saying since she was starting to break up. Assuming that her mother just entered a tunnel, Cuddy tried to make since of what she could hear.
“Yes mother, I can still hear you, what do آپ need to tell me?” Cuddy asked.
“Okay… od… there…dits…want…full…kay…” Her mother said, as the connection got worse.
This time Cuddy couldn’t understand as well.
“What? I can’t understand you. Mom… can آپ hear me?”
“I…unnel…all…ater…” Her mother hung up.
Cuddy was a bit confused. What did her mother mean سے طرف کی dits and full? She shook her head and just ignored it. Sighing she decided to try to clear her mind of worries and just enjoy New York a little. She’d call her mother and Wilson back later when she was calm and didn’t have too much to think about.

Wilson and House stood there motionless as they stared at the body. Patting House’s back, Wilson knew that this must be pretty hard on his friend. Probably harder on House than it is on himself. Wilson knew that House and Cuddy had a special relationship. They had a special kind of bond and they were close friends. Sighing, Wilson let his friend have a few مزید منٹ alone with the lifeless body and walked out.
House stared and observed the body in front of him. Her eyes were closed. Skin white and pale, like a ghost. Hair a little straighter that usual, but he ignored it. She probably straightened it while she was relaxing. Then he noticed something. Something that didn’t seem to fit. It suddenly it hit him.
“This isn’t Cuddy…” House was relieved at his new discovery. It didn’t last soon, though.
‘If this isn’t Cuddy… then where is she…
