I'll go with this one because I love them so much in the books and the show. In the show however I would choose Damon and Katherine for now... until he starts to like Elena. Stefan and Elena are boring and Stefan and Katherine are only meant to be together in the books.

Don't like Stefan and Elena or Stefan and Katherine. I'm not sure how I feel about Damon and Katherine but I always have and I always will love Damon and Elena!

I think Damon and Elena are the perfect match for each other. Even though I think Katherine and Damon are interesting and might be VERY fun, I also dont like how Katherine totally used Damon and his love for her and broke his heart by choosing Stefan over him in the books and probably also in the show. She played with them both, but it must have hurt Damon the most because he loved her from all his heart and she destroyed him. But I am looking VERY much forward to see both Damon and Katherine and of course Damon and Elena on the show. :)

I haven't read the books yet, and in the show it's Damon/Katherine. Though, I like Delena too

^I think that on the show, D/K are more like the Delena of the books that's why I love them a little more than the show-Delena. The dynamic is there mainly cz they reversed Elena/Kat's characters..Anyways, went for Stelena cz they are soooooo friggin' cute! Tho, I can't WAIT for Delena to get it on lol

samjhart, I understand why you think Katherine on the show is kind of alike book!Elena, but I dont agree completely, because I have a feeling that show!Elena will change and be more like book!Elena later on because of Damon's influence on her. We have already seen how Damon makes her all passionate and a spitfire on the show when he pushes her buttons, and when they get closer I am sure she will be like that.
As for Stelena, I dont like them AT ALL. It has nothing to do with Delena, but because I think they are the most boring and tame couple in the history of books/TV ever. They just cheesy all the way, always sweet talk and lovey-dovey eyes and Stefan's words to Elena are SO over-used and cliché sounding, so I dont like them.

^Hmm you know I get that what you mean. But it wasn't just passion that drew me to the Delena of the books. It was a kind of hunger. This element of hunger. Elena craves power in the books as does Damon and he wants her as well at the same time. They have a sort of greed that they can only satisfy, when they are together - if that makes sense. That's why I love them so much in the books. And so far - to me I've only seen that with D/K on the show..(I jus wish in the show, they hadn't played the humanity card for Delena so soon..)

Haha so you don't like Stelena? I think cz to you they seem a tad predictable? I like them cz they are steady and I think they have great potential. But I think to you Lala - you're into the selfish lover types? (According to LJ Damon is a selfish lover lol) I mean Damon is more intresting to watch cz he refuses to be a sacrifical lamb for love but lets everyone else get killed. Gotta love the guy lol XD

Idk, i always saw stephan as being the one for elena. IN no way, shape or form can i imagine damon with elena at all!!! i mean i can see damon with katherine more than stephan with katherine but idk, just my opinion
