I think this quote fits LP on both sides. I think on the BL side it relates mostly to Brooke.

^ agree. clearly lucas doesn't feel that way about brooke because a) i don't even think she WAS his first love... and b) he hasn't shown any signs of not being able to forget her lol

i just dont think it applies to BL at all, actually, not even in regards to brooke. she's married, has a family, and is happy with "the love of her life". she also has shown no signs of still hanging on to lucas. atleast not since season 5, and even her feelings in that season are debatable.

but clearly it fits LP! they ARE each other's first loves, and they obviously couldn't let go of or forget each other :D
