But anyway, I'm glad they aren't on the show anymore. I'd be damned if I had to watch them get ruined, like everything else has. Would I like a guest appearance from both of them? Absolutely. But them being around for the whole past 2 seasons? Nope!

But them failing to even be mentioned, especially at vital times when they absolutely SHOULD be (rivercourt being torn down, hello?!) just pisses me off to no end. There's no reason for it whatsoever

Lucas was Nathans brother, Haley's best friend, and Jamie's uncle. Peyton was childhood friends with both Nathan and Brooke. And she's been through a crap load of shit with Brooke.(Family problems, stalkers, shootings, etc.) You just don't forget about people like that. Espeacially Lucas whose FAMILY and a childhood friend to a majority of the characters. Also, a lot of the issues being brought up again have to do with Lucas and/or Peyton...But over all it just SUCKS cuz I miss them :( lol.

SO TRUE. And not only Lucas, but PEYTON is family now, too! She's married to Lucas. Which makes her Nathan's sister in law, and Jamie AND Lydia's aunt for crying out loud! Not to mention that she's still Brooke's best friend, I don't care what the damn show says, or how much they desperately try to replace them with Braley :/

^ I personally didn't consider that as a LP mention at all. That's a very vague statement, and could be about anything really. I took it as just meaning that their childhood, youth, and days growing up on the rivercourt are gone.

I more so meant that we rarely get any real, name-dropping mentions of them. Even during the extremely obvious opportunites that they could/should be mentioned, they just choose not to :/

^^^They did get mentioned at Jamie's birthday(the basketball), Haley wrote Lucas a cute little letter at the beginning of season 8 and I think they're might have been a few more. I do think it was a slap in the face to say that Peyton couldn't be at Brooke's wedding.

^ Yes, I know that they have been mentioned occassionally. But not nearly as often as I think they deserve to be, or during the events that they obviously should be :/

I couldn't care less if they are mentioned honestly. What I can't tolerate is that they belittle the Breyton/Laley friendship and rewrite history for the sake of Baley and to keep the story going. I mean where did Lucas and Peyton traveled to? To the moon? It's the only thing that makes sense seeing that they had not called home or send a letter.
