At least the one Brooke said was true AND Brooke had a right to be mad. Peyton completely overreated.

^ Um, I'm sorry, but what? lol... how is what Brooke said true? Peyton was in NO way "screwing her leftovers". Brooke didn't know what she was talking about one bit when she said that, or know what the real situation between LP was at the time. Which BTW, was much more serious than screwing each other. Peyton was staying at Luke's for her safety. That's not something to joke about. IMO SHE was the one who overreacted over nothing, not Peyton.

Peyton had hard evidence to support what she was saying... when Brooke really had nothing against Peyton to jump to the conclusion that she was "screwing" Lucas. It's not Peyton's fault that (like she said) Brooke couldn't comprehend the idea of two people in bed together just sleeping lol. And the joke was on Brooke, because her accusation could not have been further from the truth. Unlike Peyton's comment, which I can actually understand her reasoning for saying it.

Seeing Peyton at Lucas's house led Brooke to believe something was going on. What would you think? She was hurt, let down, surprised...it turned into anger and she lashed out. Peyton had no reason to butt into Brooke's relationship with Chase and make a snide comment.

^ Yeah, she saw Peyton at Lucas' house. Brushing her teeth. Big deal. She also knew that LP were very close at that time, practically best friends. The least she could have done was find out what was really going on first, before jumping to such extreme and ridiculous accusations, IMO.

And you know what? Even if Peyton WAS "screwing" Lucas... it still wouldn't have been okay for Brooke to make that comment. That still wouldn't have been her place. She's the one that broke up with Lucas. What he did with other girls at that time shouldn't have even been her concern anymore. She forfitted that right when she dumped him. Sure, the thought of him "screwing" Peyton may have upset her, but she still just had no business whatsoever saying/doing what she did... for quite a few reasons.

oh come on. that ONE comment is hardly considered as butting into their relationship lol. what brooke did WAS cheap. thats fact, it's not like it's some secret or something. her saying that to chase didn't change anything, he was already coming there to break up with brooke anyway. all she was doing was stating the obvious, out of anger. but atleast it was just that.. obvious, and the truth. as opposed to what brooke said, which was just absurd.
