true it's hard to beat that but Jack and Claire's dad was a drunk docter who had an illegitimate child. i am sure there is more to the story. you forgot he is the original sawyer.

Jack's dad just does not seem that bad to me. Although I did kind of like Cooper, I have to admit that he is a complete Psycho.

I think it is a great comfort to the other characters that, no matter how bad their father was, he didn't defenestrate their ass.

I know that Locke's dad was horrible, but when I saw Sawyer's dad on the list, I had to pick him. If YOU were under a bed with your drunk dad, who just killed your mother, came in looking for you, but then commits suicide on your bed, what would you do? It would probably scar you for life, especially if you're a little kid. My opinion, your dad pushing you out of a window is not quite as bad, but almost.

They're all pretty bad... I mean, Ben's dad blaming him for his mother's death? Harsh.
But Locke's dad takes the cake. Stealing a kidney? Atempted murder? Conning innocent people? ...what a meanie!

nothing beats Locke's dad, I don't ever think I've seen another dad on TV EVER as bad as him, I'd rather have a drunk or a dad that kills himself but not Locke's dad, I felt so sorry for Locke, his need for approval & acceptance, I've felt all of that in my life, except for the fact that my dad was noooo way near as bad as him, or any of the fathers on this show but Locke's dad takes the cake for being bad, bad's not even touching it, he's pure evil.
