I LOVE MELINA! i think Athena will fit her cause she already has a strong character in csi:ny so i believe her going to be Athena will be perfect!!

I don't quite know because I don't know if her character will be displayed as one of the "good ones". After all, the real Athena had quite the temper.

So, now I read most of the books (3 1/2 so to speak, haven't finished the 4th yet) and I must say there is disappointingly little of Athena in them :(

Maybe. When I first saw her (this was before I knew about Melina or CSI: NY because I read the books waay before the movie was announced), I was all "Meh... she's a somewhat." When I read the books, I was imagining Athena a little different, but I think Melina's up for it :)

Plus, my favorite Greek goddess is Athena! Weird coincidence o_O

I think she is great as Athena but there's no more than 5 secs of her in the movie.
