Nikki, and Meadow were having breakfast.

Nikki: Drink some coffee.
Meadow: No thank you.
Nikki: آپ should have some to keep آپ awake.
Meadow: I don't need it.
Nikki: آپ stayed up really late last night doing that drag racing bullshit. آپ need to drink coffee.
Meadow: *Walks away*
Nikki: Where are آپ going?
Meadow: Work.
Nikki: We have ten منٹ until it starts!
Meadow: I don't care.

Nikki was concerned for Meadow. She never acted like this before. Later that day, Meadow was in Cheyenne, and Nikki was driving a train with Anthony to Winnemucca.

Nikki: I'm worried about Meadow.
Anthony: Why?
Nikki: A few days ago, she started doing this thing called drag racing. I told her it was dangerous, and that she shouldn't be doing it. Unfortunately, she ain't listening to me about it, and does nothing, but get angry at me.
Anthony: Little ponies will get like that sometimes. Try to give her some kind of reward. She can only have it if she doesn't go drag racing ever again.
Nikki: What if that doesn't work.
Anthony: Sell her car.

While Meadow was in Cheyenne, she was talking to Stephanie, Nicole, and Ike in the trainyard. The four of them were waiting for their اگلے assignment.

Meadow: I hate Nikki.
Nicole: She's your big sister. Why do آپ hate her?
Meadow: I found this really cool hobby, and she won't let me do it.
Stephanie: What is it?
Meadow: Drag racing.
Ike: With cars?
Meadow: *Nods*
Nicole: Oh, no wonder why she won't let آپ do it.
Meadow: Huh?
Stephanie: Drag racing is dangerous, and illegal.
Meadow: It might be illegal, but it ain't dangerous.
Ike: Yeah it is. My younger cousin was drag racing in St. Foalis, and he crashed into a pick up truck going over 70.
Meadow: Well that ain't gonna happen to me.
Percy: *Arrives* Okay guys, I got your assignments for آپ right here. *Gives Meadow, Stephanie, Nicole, and Ike a sheet of paper*
Meadow: I have to go back to Ogden. *Gets on her train*

When she returned to Ogden, Meadow volunteered to work in the trainyard. Tim, and Jesse were waiting for her سے طرف کی the track. سے طرف کی the time it reached 7 PM, they went for their cars.

Jesse: We're gonna do the same thing we did last night.
Meadow: Perfect. *Gets into her car*
Jesse: *Gets into his roadster with Tim. He drives off*

Nikki: *Walks over to Meadow* Wait a minute.
Meadow: *Floors it*
Nikki: Meadow! Get back here!

Meadow didn't listen. She continued driving to where she was last night, and listened to مزید Rock & Roll on her radio at high volume.

Tim: Come on man, آپ got this.
Jesse: I know. *Sees the light turn green, and floors it*
Ranchero Pony: *Behind Jesse*
Tim: He's slowly catching up.
Jesse: He won't pass us. *Passes the railroad crossing first* Victory is ours. *Does a U turn while flooring it, making a lot of smoke from the tires*
Meadow: *Lining up her car against a Corvette*
Corvette Pony: Is your car brand new?
Meadow: Yeah. What about yours?
Corvette Pony: Nah, it's a '58.

Jesse drove past with the ranchero behind him. Shortly after that, the light turned green.

Pony: *Listening to radio*
ٹٹو 64: When's that اگلے train coming through the crossing?
Pony: I'm listening for that now.
Nikki: Train 6051 to dispatch, I'm a mile out of Ogden.
ٹٹو 64: That's half a mile away from the crossing.
Meadow: *Racing the Corvette towards the crossing, and she sees the crossing gates go down*
Corvette Pony: *Sees the train*
Meadow: *Crashes through the crossing gate, and wins the drag race*
Nikki: *Drives past the crossing, and sees Meadow* Jesus Christ!! That was close. When I get my hooves on Meadow, she's done for.

What Nikki tried to tell Meadow before she left was that she would be working overtime. Later that night, Nikki was talking to Meadow.

Nikki: I tried to tell آپ that I was working overtime.
Meadow: Oh.
Nikki: And, I saw آپ drive through the crossing while I was about to پار, صلیب it in my train!
Meadow: oooh.
Nikki: What were آپ thinking?
Meadow: I knew I could پار, صلیب it before آپ could. Why are آپ so pissed off about it?
Nikki: I could have hit you! You're not allowed to drive that car for two weeks, and I don't want آپ leaving this house unless you're going to work. Do آپ understand?
Meadow: Yes.
Nikki: Good.
