G4 Characters 

G4 Characters can be divided into several categories. Most ponies included in Generation 4 of My Little Pony are characters from the associated show, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, with the major characters from the show being heavily featured in the toyline. Some supporting show characters have never appeared in the toyline, while other supporting characters were introduced later on due to fan popularity. A final category includes ponies who have appeared exclusively in the toyline.

The toys shown are representative though more than one may exist per character. "N/A" as in "not applicable" means the character has not yet appeared in the show or such a toy has yet to be made.
