Does anyone know what the moral of My Neighbor Totoro was?

I think the moral is to believe in what آپ like and it may come true... But, believe in yourself, and آپ can do anything آپ put your mind to.

So the real morale of the story is respect- Nature, the elderly, strangers, family, and for one's self. This is shown all throughout the movie. When آپ respect people, they will treat آپ well & will comfort آپ when you're down. Even if آپ don't want to like someone, آپ should still be kind. And finally, when آپ treat nature with respect, it will respect آپ back.
