I think oth_leyton_tla said it best! Some of the lyrics can refer to Brooke's but more of the lyrics relate to Peyton and her story with Lucas (especially in s1).

I'll go a little bit more with Peyton from Luke's perspective, especially in season 1. He was saving her always & was there for her, even when she still "belonged" to Nathan. And the lyrics I know where you hide Alone in your car is perfect Peyton "crossing red line" scene. And also all the times whin she was driving the Comet just to find herself.
