too sad for me

I saw it on TV when I was about 15 or 16. What made it even more emotional for me was that one of my best friends had recently fought cancer, so those emotions were still fresh in my mind and I could completely empathize with what Charlie Brown and Linus were going through. Fortunately, my friend made a full recovery too.

But I think even if I hadn't been able to relate to the episode I would have found it really sad.

And because I watched it on TV, there was a commercial break and I couldn't just fast forward through it. Felt like the longest commercial break ever - I just wanted to find out what happened!

It was sad, but not really the saddest thing I ever saw. I don't know why but I just didn't cry and I never really felt like crying. But I was really mad at Lucy because of how insulting she was.
