Mort stared at the fish. In the lemur’s eyes, it was an ugly looking thing; it stank too. Mort touched the مچھلی and jumped back as soon as he touched it. It was cold and scaly. He continued staring at it.
In turn, the مچھلی lay unblinkingly. It must have thought that it was extremely rude for the rat/monkey like creature to stare at it and not offer any assistance. The مچھلی watched as the creature’s eyes grew large.
The tiny lemur’s mind was working overtime. مچھلی = present = feet! Mort jumped with joy. He picked up the scaly thing, ignoring the cold, slimy feeling, and ran to his king. Once there, he dumped the مچھلی right on his sleeping king’s stomach.
Julien felt something cold and slimy on him. “Maurice, get it off,” he mumbled, not wanting to get up.
When a few سیکنڈ past without any change, the بندر king angrily got up. “Maurice! Did I not tell آپ to get this thing off me?” he yelled.
Maurice was nowhere to be seen. Julien looked down. He shuddered and jumped away in horror. “What is that?” he screamed.
Mort climbed up to the jumpy house. “It’s a fish,” he stated.
“I can see that! I meant, what is the monstrosity doing here?”
Mort was confused. He did not expect his king to behave this way. Julien took in the silence as a sign that Mort did not know what happened. Instead, the king raised his foot and kicked it away from his habitat.
The مچھلی flew up and into Rico’s flippers, which were outstretched because they were doing training. The surprised پینگوئن, پیںگان ate the fish, not wanting to waste the precious gift.
Skipper stormed over. “Who authorized آپ to eat?” he demanded.
“Uh, sky spirits?” Rico replied with the only possible explanation he had.
“Don’t think I believe that آپ believe in those yak ati yaks.”
Rico inclined his head. “Say what?”
Skipper narrowed his eyes. “I’ll deal with your insubordination later, soldier.”
He went back to the training, leaving a very surprised and scared پینگوئن, پیںگان in his wake.
