I was worried Percy was acting strange around Piper like he would give me flowers یا chocolate یا tell me this fancy place we were going for رات کے کھانے, شام کا کھانا and he had done this since he found out that she was a daughter of Aphrodite. When ever I asked him about his behavior he would say that he wasn't acting strange. So I decided since I didn't want him to die of starvation to try to go talk to Piper's mom. "Well I can't believe آپ Annabeth has had a hard enough life and آپ don't even try to make it livable for her" Aphrodite sighed and then continued " I thought that talk with آپ at fourteen was enough but I guess not" and she kept saying things like that until Piper was clawing at her mom shouting things like "NO NO NO mom that's enough" and Jason was trying to make the wind carry away Aphrodite's voice (nothing was working) and I was telling Percy that he was just and didn't have to change but he kept shaking his head no. I couldn't help but wonder about this mysterious talk at fourteen. then Aphrodite raised her voice for the final sentence and with how hard it was for Percy to handle the rest I knew this was going to break him "...Annabeth should have chosen Luke" and Percy nodded yes while a single tear slid down his cheek
"excuse me please" Percy کہا and with that he got up walked away to the Kio pond and sat there for the rest of the night while we ate in silence.
