People.com reports Gomez, 16, snuck out of her party at Toronto’s Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex and stumbled across the Etobicoke prom. "They were all dancing in a group and having fun," a witness told People.com. "Selena was thrilled to see firsthand what a real prom is like and that her dress was much like the other girl's dresses."

Still, the teens had a blast. At the end of the evening, Gomez took to Twitter and wrote, "PPP peeps and I crashed a prom tonight and danced with a high school!! amazing!! I finally had prom!"
