Joan woke early. She rolled over and looked at Sherlock. He was still asleep. She placed a gentle kiss on his cheek. so she wouldn't wake him, and went downstairs. She found her bag and pulled out the envelopes. She didn't know what to do about them. They were addressed to Sherlock so what would Gregson being doing with them? She was torn. She wanted to know what was in them but then that would be betraying Sherlock's trust.
'Joan!?
She heard him.
'I'm down here!.' She shoved the envelopes back in her bag. After a moment, Sherlock came downstairs
'Your up early.'
'I couldn't sleep.' She went into the kitchen.
'You OK?.'
'Sure, why wouldn't I be?.' Sherlock just stared at her. 'Don't do that?.'
'What?.'
'Your trying to work out what's wrong سے طرف کی studying me.'
'Well somethings wrong. آپ won't even look at me. So what have I done?.' Joan sighed.
'Nothing. I hope.'
'What does that mean?.' She went into the living room and pulled out the envelopes from her bag.
'I found these in Gregson's office but their addressed to you.' Sherlock went to grab them but she held them away. 'So my سوال is what are they?.'
'Nothing important.'
'So if I were to look inside...' she was about to open one.
'No.' She stopped. 'Please.'
'What's in here?.' He went and sat on the chair with his head in his hands and sighed.
'I'm... Sorry. I should have just told you...'

'Look inside.' She started at him, confused for a منٹ then opened the first envelope. She pulled out the pictures. 'I'm so sorry.' Joan quickly scanned the pictures, she knew something was up with those two.
'I knew آپ weren't over her.' He looked up at her. 'I just didn't want to believe it.'
'I may not be over her but i don't love her. Not anymore.'
'I wish i could believe you.' He got up from the chair and went over to her.
'Watson, look at me.' She turned her head. 'I swear to you. I don't love her.' He leaned in closer. 'I...' His lips were about to touch her's when she turned her head away.
'You think this will all go away if آپ kiss me? It doesn't work like that Sherlock. آپ are in love with another woman.'
'No i'm not. How many times do i have to say it?. Joan turned and went upstairs. Sherlock followed her. 'Watson?.' She went into her room and locked the door. 'When did آپ get a lock installed?.'
'Before we started going out. آپ just kept barging into my room, i was getting annoyed.'
'Look, lets just talk about this.' After a couple of minuets, she came out all dressed and carrying a bag. 'What are آپ doing?.'
'I'm going.' she went downstairs.
'Where?.' She didn't answer, he ran after her. 'Joan? Please.' She stopped at the door. 'Don't.'
'I'll call آپ later.' She left. Sherlock stood there for a while then went into the living room, He picked up the تصاویر and ripped them to shreds. He was about to rip the one of him and Irene from when they first met but he couldn't do it. He threw back on to the میز, جدول and went upstairs to his room. He never wanted this to happen.
