Atie was readying everything for their departure, making sure that they'd packed enough food until their اگلے stop. Liam was already waiting in the car. Atie sighed, giving her room one last look. She hated that they had to be doing this, but she knew that Liam's parents would never accept their relationship. And it wasn't like her parents were that crazy about it, either.
She swore that they'd come back eventually, once everything would have cooled down with the Henstridge family. All Atie could really hope was that her family would forgive her for leaving.
She placed a letter on her bed, addressed to "mom and dad" before climbing out of the window, and straight to Liam's car.
"Are آپ sure about this?" he asked quietly as she took a proper نشست اگلے to him.
Atie turned to look at him with a small smile. "I'll miss my family, but we'll be back. And I love آپ مزید than anything, so yes, I'm sure about this." She took a breath before asking: "are you?"
"Of course I am", Liam whispered, placing a kiss on her lips before they drove off into the night.
They weren't really sure where they were going, but they knew that they needed to take this distance.
When Atie and Liam had come out with their relationship to Liam's parents, they had freaked out severely. And perhaps it was understandable, considering the fact that Liam was the crown prince of England, and Atie was but a normal girl. Even though her family was appropriately rich, she was still not what Liam's parents wanted for him.
But she was exactly what Liam wanted, what he had always wanted. Ever since they met junior سال of high school, he had been falling for her slowly. And eventually they'd fallen properly in love, and now they were taking a huge chance with each other, running away from their responsibilities. But they knew in their hearts that it was the right thing to do.
"What are we going to do now?" Atie asked, turning to look at her boyfriend. "Where are we going?"
Liam sighed. "I'm not sure. To be honest with you, it doesn't matter to me, as long as it's with you", he took her hand in his and gave it a kiss, his eyes on the road.
"I love you", Atie کہا before turning her eyes to the pitch-black road as well. There were no other cars around, and it was the middle of the night. But somehow she did not feel sleepy. Despite feeling guilty about leaving, she felt exhilirated and happy about the idea of getting to be with the man she loved like they had never been before.
"I think this is the most romantic thing we've ever done", Liam smirked. "This is kind of like a forbidden love, huh?"
"Oh, shut up", Atie chuckled softly, leaning to press a kiss to his cheek. "But yes, it is very romantic. And kind of hot, actually."
"Plenty hot, if آپ ask me", Liam murmured, smiling at her. "What do آپ say we go check out what sort of hotels they've got around the اگلے city we stop at?"
Atie smiled. "That sounds nice." Yes, she was definitely at ease with him right at that moment, knowing that he'd keep her, that he'd keep the both of them safe.
"I love you, too, سے طرف کی the way", Liam broke the silence, smiling at her.
Atie turned to look at him with a bright smile. "You abandon your position and claim to the تخت of England for me, and آپ still feel آپ have to tell me that?"
Liam chuckled, shaking his head. "No. I just like to say it. Because honestly, right now it's the only truth that I know."
Atie nodded, taking his hand in hers. "We'll figure it out together."
And, of course they did. However, less than a ماہ later Atie's parents found them, brought them home, and together they convinced the Henstridge family to give Atie the benefit of the doubt. And the two of them got to be together forever.
