"Tails!" Sonic exclaimed.
"Ah!" slings wrench in the air, "What?!"
"...Nothing I was just messin' with ya bud! Ha ha!" Sonic joked.
"Oh ha ha..." wrench hits Tails in the head, "Ow! God d-"
"-Don't be using harsh language on me, bud, آپ know you're too young for that stuff." Sonic smirked jokingly.
"I was just gonna say 'danget'."
"Yeah but still."
Out of nowhere Knuckles comes, یا rather leaps, out of a warp ring.
"If that's the way آپ feel, Dad, then fine سے طرف کی me!" he exclaimed.
"You need to take your responsibilities serious, Knuckles, یا you'll never become a good guardian!" Locke exclaimed from the other side of the warp.
"I do! You're not listening to...Ugh! I don't need this!" Knuckles closed the warp and turned to see Sonic and Tails glaring at him, "...Well this is awkward."
"What was that about?" Sonic asked.
"What was what about?" Knuckles asked.
"The whole 'I hate you!' thing."
"We were just fighting, Sonic, everyone does it. And since when did i say i 'hated' him? He's my dad."
"You guys just fight a lot, that's all."
"What was it about anyways?" Tails asked.
"Nothing. آپ guys wouldn't understand."
"And since when did آپ have a warp ring?"
"Oh this is my dad's. I took it before I left."
"That explains it."
Sonic, Knuckles and Tails walked through Mobotropolis.
"So, Sonic, how's the whole 'dating a Princess' thing working out for you?" Knuckles asked.
"Better than I'd expected," کہا Sonic, "but it just feels weird ya know? Dating a Princess when you're not a Prince."
"At least she likes you." کہا Tails looking grumpy, "Mina never even looks at me. She's always so into Ash."
"Perhaps that's because she's dating him?" Knuckles کہا to point it out.
"Yeah but he's not exactly Mr.HotShot. I mean have آپ seen him?"
"Oh come on, buddy, he ain't that bad."
"I know but...it's just so hard when you're really into someone who doesn't like آپ the same way back."
"Aw it'll be alright, Tails," کہا Knuckles supportive, "you'll find your soul mate some day."
"Easy for you to say. You've already found yours."
"And here she comes now." کہا Sonic with a smirk.
