Is the سوان, ہنس Princess German, Russian, یا English?

I have heard some people say that it might be in France, but according to the story on Youtube about Jean Bob
link it did NOT take place in France! Anyways, some people believe it was set in Russia because it was based on a Russian ballet سے طرف کی Peter Tchiakovsky. Others say it was German because it was based off of a German fairy tale and the names Odette and Rothbart are German and the name Chamberg came from a town, called Schaumberg in Germany. Most other people say it's in Medieval England because some of the characters spoke in English accents, as well as Odette's father being named after an English king called William IV, the name Bromley being originated from a town of the same name in London, some names of the characters, and Rogers mentioning Lincolnshire and Colchester.
