this actually happened with this show i was so against watching it because of the twilight craze but i made a trade off with my twin to watch and i got hooked right away

Lost and Mad Men. Others too but mostly these two

Yeah this happens to me quite often, which is why I made this pick haha... When Lost first came out everyone was obsessed with it where I live, and people would tell me to watch it all the time. I always said I was never going to watch it, that I wouldn't like it, bla bla... Now I love it. From the first episode I was completely hooked I don't even know why I didn't give it a chance when it first came out, it's definitely one of the best shows ever. I already got my sister to watch it and I haven't even finished it yet lol.

It also kind of happened with The Office. I always said it wasn't my type of humor after watching a few episodes, that I didn't think it was funny... Then I started to really like it. I don't watch it THAT much, I haven't seen this season yet, and there are still a some episodes I haven't watched from other seasons, but I do like it.

when Glee came out I kept saying I'd hate the show, then half way through the first season my friend made me watch it, and now it is one of my favorites :D

i usally give a show a couples of episodes and if im not hooked i just stop watching!

Buffy always seemed so cheesy to me until I really sat down and watched the episode "I Only Have Eyes For You" in season2. I was blown away by the context and the brilliance of the writing, so much so, that I started to feel bad for judging first.

Now (since this has happened to me a few times) I tend to have a really open mind about tv shows, I like giving most a shot first and THEN figure out if I like it or not lol. :D

I don't think that's ever happened to me... once I decide I don't like something, it's kind of final. =P

I was sure that I'm not gonna like LOST and now it's my favotite tv show ever :) . Thanks for my brother who convinced me to watch it!

Cause I watched the UK version and was really skeptical cause US versions of them are usually bad and in my opinion the first episodes of The Office US were but it actually is good, though I've only like seen the first three seasons.

I hated it at first.
Now it's my 2nd favorite show!

Usually I dont judge something before I watch it.
But when the promo of GA was on TV it was saying something like the best doctors/medical show on TV and I was watching a lot of shows at the time, I didnt want to watch one more and I thought NO way it is better than House.
But then I started watching and I am still hooked with this!

Lost,but now i almost cant live without the show;d

This used to happen to me so often that now I'm open minded about all shows haha.
I picked Lost because it was the most popular and the show that many people recommended and talked about, but still I didn't want to watch it...now obviously I do!
Also The Office, at first I didn't think it was my type of humor, but I was wrong, it cracks me up!
And I could probably think of more...
HIMYM was also another one, I thought it was just a Friends-wannabe haha, but I started watching it and found out there are many original things about it and it's just as funny!
It happened with Glee, with Fringe (I though it was too creepy at first, but I didn't even know about the amazing story it tells)
And I could probably think of more...

my brother got me hooked.
And my friend got me into Glee...

and Grey's Anatomy

I do it frequently. If i find myself saying ugh i wont like that show i always prep myself for getting obsessed with it like a year later. its happened so many times.

the only exception is glee. i started out disliking it and still do...lol

one tree hill, i loved the oc and said i'd never watched one tree hill, but now i've seen the first 7 seasons on dvd and love it lol.

I thought it would be a copy of Twilight now I'm obsessed with the show lol

Well I wouldn't say I love it or watch it regularly but when there's nothing else on I catch re-runs on SoapNet. It's not too terrible.
