The hours wore on for the Beatles, and there was no way of telling how much time had passed in their little prison. It could have been the اگلے morning, یا afternoon, یا the اگلے evening. But as the Beatles hadn’t slept at all last night, and all four were beginning to feel their eyelids getting heavy, they decided it might as well be night. There was no other way to measure time in here then سے طرف کی sleeps. But none of them wanted to drift off, not when they had so little time left.
Paul still insisted they would find a way out of here. “Someone will find us. یا we’ll find a way out we haven’t noticed yet. It’s only a matter of time now.”
His mates wanted to believe him, but all three were feeling decidedly discouraged. There was no way to get out of here – if there was, wouldn’t they have spotted it سے طرف کی now? It wasn’t like there was that much in this place to begin with. And even if someone was looking for them, how would they ever find them here, in this gloomy old basement in a house in the middle of nowhere?
Eventually, all four Beatles were too exhausted to stay awake any longer. Their heads lolling on each others’ shoulders, they drifted off into an uneasy sleep.

Early اگلے morning, Karen drove to each of the other girls’ houses to pick them up, then as they headed out to the lonely road they’d seen on the map yesterday, she explained what she’d found out.
“It really is empty up there – I didn’t like the look of things at all. But,” she added, before her passengers could get too worried about this “it turns out there’s a house!”
“Really?” Emma leaned آگے from the backseat, brown eyes bright with curiosity. “A house in the middle of nowhere? Why?”
Karen shrugged. “I don’t know why, but it’s there. There’s plumbing and electricity that runs out there to connect to just one building. Now,” she gave her new دوستوں a little smile in the rear-view mirror “if آپ were trying to disappear, after doing something dreadful like getting rid of the Beatles, say, wouldn’t آپ choose just that sort of place?”
“I wouldn’t know,” Jenna replied fiercely. She was sitting in the back with Susan and Emma, but let Butch ride up front on the passenger side اگلے to Karen, the window down so he could sniff at smells. “Because I would never try to get rid of the Beatles!”
Karen nodded feelingly. “Right,” she agreed. “Well, I think we need to drive out to this place and have a little talk with whoever lives there.”

The drive out to the house Karen had found out about turned out to take a very long time. The road wound on and on through the thick trees, and it seemed like it could go on forever without actually leading anywhere. The girls were starting to get very nervous. This was taking much too long – they’d been at this for two hours now, and it had already been مزید than a دن since the Beatles had gone missing! Would they find their beloved band on time?
But then suddenly, Butch began to bark. Turning to look at him, Karen spotted a thin dirt trail leading off the road and into the deep woods. It was so small and covered سے طرف کی foliage that she might have missed it. “I think he’s found the place,” she announced to her passengers in the back.
“Good boy, Butch!” Jenna approved.
With some difficulty, Karen turned her car onto the narrow path. It was actually wider than it first appeared, wide enough for a fairly big vehicle to get سے طرف کی with no problems. Still, Karen drove slowly, not wanting anybody to hear her car approaching. Emma leaned آگے breathlessly, Susan twisted her hands in her lap, and Jenna fidgeted in her seat, but nobody کہا a word.
Then, abruptly, Karen stopped the car. “There,” she whispered, pointing ahead.
Through the overhanging درخت branches, the girls could just make out an unusually wide car parked in a little cleared-out area just off the dirt path, painted a dull, ugly beige.
“Ugh,” shuddered Susan, seeing the car. “It looks – like a monster یا something.”
“We’re here,” Emma breathed. “We made it. Look.”
Up ahead, just a little ways beyond the crude driveway, a tall house loomed up from between the trees.

The Beatles stopped in the doorway, a little surprised, but not very. Girls had gotten past security to see them before. Just this afternoon they had found a girl in their car boot, after all.
This girl, at least, wasn’t screaming, but looked at them with a pretty smile. Her fair-skinned face was made up like an actress’s and her shiny black hair fell to her shoulders before coming back up in a flip, held back سے طرف کی a red headband. She had on a red-and-blue dress that showed off her slender figure beautifully.
“There آپ are,” she said. “I’ve been waiting for you.” She spoke as though...

“Nice girls, these شائقین of ours,” کہا Paul. “But...”
“Good of them to دکھائیں us they care and all,” Ringo agreed. “But...”
“And they buy all our records,” George reminded them. “We’d be in trouble without them. But sometimes I think they’re going to wind up smothering us if they keep this up.”
As one, the four boys nodded.
They were lounging around their hotel room, their suit jackets and ties hung up on the backs of chairs and light fixtures and similar, and the Beatles themselves were reclining on the سوفی, لٹانا and the rug and the bench for the piano that came with their...

Susan Leigh had planned this all perfectly. She would slip into the boot of the Beatles’ car while everyone else was distracted, while the Beatles were running away from all her fellow شائقین and they tried to catch the Beatles سے طرف کی chasing them. She would stow away to their hotel with them, hidden سے طرف کی the instruments and luggage in the back. And then when the boot was opened, and the Beatles found her, she would climb out and face her beloved boys, and she would look deep into Paul’s dreamy eyes and say....
“Eee! Paul!! Huminaminama....”
The Beatles stared at her. Susan twisted her fingers...

The airport in Emma’s hometown was completely packed, leaving no doubt in anyone’s mind as to who was coming there. Only one band could attract such a large, devoted crowd. Many of the girls there squealed and pushed آگے to be closer to the barrier, hoping to touch her beloved boys as they arrived.
It was a bright, sunny afternoon, and everyone could see the plane come in as it circled low in the sky, some girls even fancying they could see the boys waving through the windows. A great cheer rose from the crowd. The plane touched down, and four young lads with their hair wonderfully,...
