Tommy was good, but he was WAY to comical and unrealistic. Harvey was just a tortured little guy, they made you emotionally connect with him before his mutilation

Yeah, I mean, going with Nolan's darker, crime drama version of Batman, Aaron's Dent doesn't really feel like any other Batman villain, but a man just driven over the edge. Tommy's was the typical, cartoon, stereotypical baddie that made you laugh as a kid, but half cringe, half like in a Batman live-action movie.
