-CHAPTER 3-

I took the fragile baby into my arms, being careful not to break her. She was so small, and so liveful. She looked up at me, and did something that looked like a smile. I smiled back at her, and kissed the سب, سب سے اوپر of her head. Brandt watched carefully, but he smiled, too. Wanda looked at him in amazment. What had I done right?
Lissy was a beautiful baby. She had soft کیریمل, کآرامال hair, and blue eyes like Brandt. Her hair, which she didnt have alot of, was done up in two tiny, baby گلابی ribbons on the سب, سب سے اوپر of her head. She had a baby گلابی dress on with a yellow تیتلی on the chest pocket.
"So, Elisabeth will be sleeping in your room?" Brandt asked. I looked over at Wanda, who nodded. So, I turned to Brandt and nodded as well. He sighed.
"I'll be checking in on her, every few hours, while I'm not on a raid." I nodded, but my breath was short. He would be coming into
my room at different hours, checking up on his baby.

A few hours later, I was in my room, talking to Jamie and Ian and feeding Lissy a bottle of milk, while she tried to go to sleep. They asked alot about the Origin, because I had lived there for most of my life.
"Why dont آپ ask Wanda about this kind of stuff?" I asked, annoyed. I was just about to take a nap with Lissy and they came in with millions of questions.
"She doesnt know alot about the Origin because she didnt live there for very long," Jamie explained. "And besides, its a reason for me to come meet you." His smile was bright, and it made me smile, too. Ian just shrugged, which made me laugh.
"Please tell us, Starlight!" Jamie begged.
"I go سے طرف کی Kamali. It was my Origin name."
"Isnt that a Native American name?" Ian asked, one blonde eyebrow raised. I nodded.
"Tell us about that!" Jamie said. "How did آپ get the names of Native Americans?"
I sighed. This would be a long talk. "Well, actually, the Native Americans were دیا the names of those from the Origin."
Ian and Jamie both looked at me like I was crazy.
"So, um, long before the souls took over, some of us went down to see if this planet was right for us. It took thousands of years, and thats where the Indians names came from. We...expiremented with a couple Native Americans..." I trailed off. Jamie's eyes buldged. Ian raised his eyebrows.
"Yeah. So, like, alot of Native Americans got our names, we named their children and stuff. Then we went on to different lands. Did آپ know, the name Sophia, and the name Selena, are both names brought سے طرف کی souls?" I asked. Jamie shook his head, and both looked interested.
I could have کہا more, but Lissy let out a little sigh, saying she was tired. So I shooed them away, and me and Lissy took our nap.
I was going to sleep longer, but she woke up about an گھنٹہ after we fell asleep. So, I decided to take her on a walk through the caves. We walked far, people coming and giving Lissy kisses on the head, and running away when they saw who was holding her. I growled. Wanda کہا they'd accept me. And it didnt look that way to me
One person was nice to me. When they came to see Lissy, they looked up at me and smiled.
"Hi! آپ must be Kamali! Jamie and Wanda have told me so much about you!" She giggled.
"Sorry, I dont know who آپ are," I replied polietly. She giggled again and smiled.
"You're a soul! So am I! Windy was my bestfriend. Hi, I'm Sunny."
