Is there a time bug in S08EP3?

In this episode, Doug explaines how he lied ti Cary about working at IPS when they first met. So, at some point at the past, he eats پیزا in Dannys pizzaria and Spence joins him with Danny. How is that possible since Danny and Spence met for the first time in the paintball episode S3EP14 ( when Doug and Cary were married for years).
Is that a mistake?
