Haruhi's POV
"Everyone, Ryoko made a suggestion to visit Koizumi-kun's grave." I turned away, trying not to let the image of my late boyfriend come to mind. it has been over a week since he was killed سے طرف کی the godamn Computer Club. I rummage through the drawers of our ڈیسک and pull of the band i gave him when I promoted him to deputy cheif. I put it in my pocket. I'm going to put it on his grave, anyway.
"Here it is." Ryoko said, tired from running. There it was. The grave of someone who didn't really deserve to die. 'Here Lies Itsuki Koizumi', it said. It was surrounded سے طرف کی pictures, bouquets, stuffed animals, and many things that looked like they belonged to him. "Mi-Mikuru, آپ go first." I whispered, closing my eyes tight. Crying, Mikuru placed a small ٹیولپ, گل لالہ under one of the pictures. She then broke down, throwing herself into Kyon's arms. "You irritated me a lot," Kyon began, "But آپ were a good pal eitheir way." He placed another ٹیولپ, گل لالہ in the same place, right اگلے to Mikuru's. Yuki did the same, but she didn't sound sad when she said, "I wish I could have gotten to know آپ better." Ryoko and Tsuruya both prayed for him, putting a rose under one of the boquets. It was my turn. I didn't want to see me sad, let alone crying. "Can آپ guys go back to school? I'll catch up." I asked. "Sure thing. C'mon, everyone. Let's go." Ryoko کہا Everyone headed off, except for Tsuruya, who stopped in mid-walk. "Haruhi...I know it's hard for you, since آپ had feelings for him and all....but I'm just letting آپ know I'm here for you." I looked at her. "Thanks, Tsuruya-san."
"Oh, and...is it okay if I stay?"
"Okay."
I stood close to Itsuki's grave. "I-Itsuki...it's Haruhi. آپ were so good to me....nobody will ever replace آپ as deputy cheif..thanks again for the retreat idea, we had a lot of fun. O-Our first kiss...it was unforgettable. And, anyway, I just wanna say....that I love you....so much." i put the band on the very سب, سب سے اوپر of all the clutter that lined his grave, then, for the first time since his death, I smiled.
