آپ smiled at him, waiting for him to continue. He grabbed your hand. “I thought it’d be the coolest thing to be a train. I don’t even know why. Maybe because they’re always moving, they’re big, I don’t know.” He shrugs his shoulders.
“But as I got older, I realized I was like a train. Always pushing forward, no turning around of anything. From the looks of it, my train was going to end me up in jail.” He stops walking at the track switch.
“(Y/N), آپ were like my track switch. My train was headed for nowhere till آپ came along. Now I see my train going somewhere, to a house, a family, a life.” He pauses. “And I wanted to say thank you.” He says quietly.
آپ just لپیٹ, لفاف کریں your arms around him.
Steve sprints from the couch, to the bathroom, tripping over his own feet.

“Look,” آپ groan. “My baby bump is starting to show.” آپ lift up your شرٹ, قمیض to دکھائیں the subtle curve to your stomach.
“Oh,” Steve says softly, leaning against the door frame, smile on his face.
“Why are آپ smiling?”
“Because it’s all really happening.” He mutters. “And it looks great on you.” He grins.

It must have been about two in the morning, and the baby had been crying off and on again for hours.
“Hey baby girl, I got you. I got you.” He says, holding her up to his chest and rocking back and forth. “We’re all good. We’re all good.”
He walks around the room a few minutes, bouncing the baby up and down till she stops crying, and slowly starts to fall back asleep.
“Katherine Jane Winston,” he muttered, looking at his half asleep daughter. “You’re going to be so beautiful one day. آپ know that? I’ll do anything for you. Anything آپ need. Your daddy’s right here. And so is your big brother, and your mommy. But most of all I’m here, and I got you.” He smiles.
The baby snores softly, but he doesn’t want to put her down. He’s in love.
