What happened with Tyler and Klaus on 3x22?

Klaus is alive but he's in Tyler's body
Tyler is alive but I don't know where he is? :/
I know this because in season 2 episode 'Klaus' Klaus goes back to his original body and Alaric goes back to his. But I'm not sure where he was when Klaus was in his body... You're right it is confusing. But they are both still alive. :) Hope that helps
