Even if you guys hate Damon and think he's being am ass or whatever, he's not he's being REALISTIC he doean't want to give Elena FALLS hope (which we all know that's "saint" Stefan is doing since we alardey know from many spoilers that Elena will become a vampire,and the only reason he's doing that because he KNOWS he Made a Mistake and as usual he tries to fix Ot after it's TOO LATE, Elena is suffering yet makes it all about him all over again)

As i was saying Damon is being realistic as always, he gives it straight to Elena instead of wasting her tome and giving falls hope (like "saint" Stefan) it's S2 all over again, when Elijah give Elena a "magical" drink tha "should" keep her human "saint" steafn is putting Elena life/faith on something that is NOT RELIABLE, instead of doing something that 100% granted to work. See unlike "saint" stefan, Damon doesn't count on things that has 1% of working he makes plans for everything that might he face and plans on how to deal with it

So yeah "saint" Stefan is giving Elena FALLS hope because he feels guilty it's all about him, it has nothing to with her, giving falls hope to someone who's dying or in a difficult stutation when you that there's NO hope at all is about you not wanting to be the person who tells the one that you love you can't do anything to help them I know that from a personal experience and believe me it's all not wanting to be the person with bad news

See unlike "saint" Stefan, Damon always does the dirty job that makes everyone hates him but he will do it as long as it means the ones he loves and cars about are safe
E.G: letting Elena believe boonir was dead in 2x18, turnning boonie's mother 3x15, killing mason 2x05 or 2x06 ( because let's he knew mason was part of Katherine's plan) I could go on and on but this just proves my point

@bdavis Are you completely forgetting the fact that no matter who Stefan saved, Matt or Elena, that someone would of died? It's the princepal of the situation. Yes, of course he saved Matt first but that's because Elena wanted him to do. At least Elena is still ALIVE! So you're basically saying that it would of been ok if Stefan let Matt die? And of course he's going to feel freaking guilty no matter what. Damon's being, as much as I love him, a brat right now because all he's doing is just thinking about Elena. It's getting quite old, seriously, he wasn't in Stefan's situation.

Instead of Damon sympathizing about Stefan's SITUATION, he's going to be upset and nag and nag and nag like a three year old.

The ONLY reason Elena is ALIVE is because of DAMON'S blood, if it wasn't for his blood she would be DEAD becuase "saint" Stefan LET her DIE. Now I'm not saying Elena's life is more important than Matt in general they both are humans, and both have a eight to be alive, but if you had the chance to either save someone you love or someone who's basically a syarnger to you, I don't care if the person you love was kicking and screaming because you didn't "respect" their wishes or whatever crap and saved the person next to them, you will selfish as hell and save them. It's simple as that, the person you lI've is apart of you if you see them dying or getting hurt u would do eveything in your power to save them NO MATTER what is the situation

All damon does is say "my brother the peace maker", or covers for him like in 3x06 when Elena asked what "saint" strath was doing (plaing bloody twister with 3 or 4) girls Damon said he was doing his hair an writing in his journal

And I think we all can agree that if Damon WAS in "saint" Stefan's situation he WOULD have saved her EVEN If it ment Elena hating him forever.

Are you also forgetting that Stefan was RIPPER when all of that went down. It was stated he couldn't control it. He was trying to keep Elena away from him so he wouldn't hurt her. If I'm not mistaken, Damon has almost gotten Elena killed before as well. Like when he went on that search for Stefan and brought her with him. Klaus almost found her.

Of course Stefan has a bond with Matt. Stefan doesn't call him self a saint so why are you using the word "Saint" again and again. It's irrelavant to the topic right now. Stefan regrets a lot of descions he's made. Never once has he called himself a saint. AND HE"S NOT.

And let's get one thing straight. Meredith gave Elena Damon's blood. So it doesn't matter if it was Damon's or anyone else's, Meredith technically saved her ass.

Yes, and why does Stefan write about Damon in his journal? And don't go saying, because of what Stefan did to him. Stefan beats himself up for it everyday and couldn't control it. Damon's the one who kept the war going for 100 something years, hurting people Stefan cares about. Zach and Lexi are two examples.

Don't get me wrong, I love Damon to death but to pin all of this on Stefan because you're a Damon fan is ridiculous. All of the things Damon has done, when he COULD control it beats out Stefan for miles.

Back on the topic. I still stick to what I said above. Either way Stefan would of been considered the bad guy.
