She's right after transition now. In few years I think she'll be able to use bloodbags, but I don't think it will happen soon, especially with her "doppelganger legacy".

Katherine doesn't. I think they are going to need Katherine to help Elena with the newness of being a vampire. Katherine would have gone through the same things.
