"I can't believe this is happening to me," moaned Avalon King. She was in the backseat of her parents' convertible. They were unfortunately on their way to Brunswick, Georgia also known as the deadest town in existence.
"Oh, stop being so melodramatic," declared her mom, Riley King. "This is an exciting experience. آپ might actually enjoy yourself unless آپ are afraid to have fun with these mortals."
"Mom, don't even joke about that," groaned Damon who sat اگلے to Avalon in the car. "Those mortals wouldn't know how to have fun even if it slapped them in the face."
"Don't be so quick to judge," کہا their mom. "You must have forgotten your دوستوں back in London."
"How could we possibly forget Anna and Jeremiah?" asked Avalon.
Anna and Jeremiah were the only mortal couple that were on good terms with Avalon and Damon. They weren't like other mortals. They didn't try to hang every witch they encountered. They were cool with what the witches do; they respected them, too. Most mortals thrived to destroy every witch in e universe. Believe it یا not but that isn't admired سے طرف کی witches.
"They were the one's who gave me the spell book that I was searching for," added Damon.
"Why would آپ look for that particular book? It took آپ years to locate it," شدہ تبصرہ Avalon.
"That book is amazing," defended Damon. "It taught me so much."
"Yeah," agreed Avalon, "it taught آپ basically everything آپ already knew."
"In my defense, everyone claimed that the book would transform آپ into a مزید wiser being," کہا Damon.
"Anna warned آپ not to get it," کہا Avalon.
"Listen up," interrupted their mom, "we are herein Brunswick. Please Avalon, keep the weather under control and if I see one dazed person, Damon, I will sentence آپ to the lair. Get out the car."
Avalon and Damon didn't notice that they were already at heir Grandfather William King's elaborate estate. It was beautifully built and free from vines. The lawn was trimmed, the trees were held back سے طرف کی a fence, and there was a فاؤنٹین, چشمہ of a baby spitting out water in the front lawn. If آپ glanced closely then آپ would notice that the house had an eerie glow surrounding it. Classic granddad.
He didn't like strangers wandering about his home. This unnatural glow kept them away. If one did dare to trespass, that person would be taken care if immediately.
Grandfather William had numerous amounts of priceless treasures stashed in his house. He didn't want anyone outside of the King Family to see them. Those treasures could corrupt even the most good-hearted man. Sometimes he would forbid the family from glimpsing at a certain treasure. He was a very secretive man.
Their dad, Luther King, arrived at the estate a couple of days earlier to explore the house. He also had to sort out some of the funeral plans. Luther desired to locate the کتابیں and maps that William had hidden from him. William was an intelligent man and knew that the wrong persons would seek his treasure.
Luther strolled out the house with his simple, wooden cane and his usual formal attire. Following behind him was his cousin, Lawrence King. "Glad my family could finally دکھائیں up."
"Hi, honey," greeted Riley as she gently kissed her husband's cheek. "You know I enjoy riding the mortal way."
"I know but that doesn't mean I like it," he replied. "Damon, Avalon, go with Lawrence to the school. I believe a guide was selected specifically for you."

Hidden deep within
Where no one can find it
And slip right in
To be with the one
The one right for you
Whose eyes are lovely
As ocean waves of blue
Forever to stare
To stare at you
Forever and ever
For آپ know it's true
Even when آپ doubt
آپ doubt the truth
آپ know this feeling
آپ don't need proof
This is love
Love is exciting
And terrible sometimes
Something so inviting
And perfect for me and you
