You see, when someone says something as inconsiderate and thoughtless like "I hate Jacob", it pushes buttons and initiates needless anomosity. Statements like these don't fall under "freedom of speech" because if that were the case, it would mean that it's acceptable for people to approach others with statements like "I hate you. But that's just my opinion and anyone is entitled to an opinion". What purpose did that serve other than to hurt others? If you don't want a debate, don't say anything that would start one. If you DO want a debate, there's a forum thread for that.

edward really thought he was doing the rite thing for bella and didnt realize how much she relied on him and how much he relied on her. he honestly thought they both cood get over each other and bella cood go on living a normal human life. it was a honestly good effort from edward but it didnt work
