Preface
My name is Aramantha. I am a sixteen سال old vampire. I have shoulder length, blonde hair, a tall, flexible pixie-like body, blue eyes, and a crazy vampire family. I have an older brother, four older sisters and a mother. My oldest sister and brother are twins. My older brother is five منٹ older than my sister. Their names are Lucine, and Alla. Then comes the triplets, Elvira, Aleera and Verona. My mother’s name is Nardia. We are the last of the Brax family and clan. We live in the small country town of Luckey, Ohio.

Ch.1- New House, New Town
All I heard when I woke up was the sound of boxes being taped shut. I پگھلانا, سودھنا guilt in the air. That scent only meant one thing. We were moving again. This’ll be the third time in six months that we have had to move. I already knew the reason was because of my brother getting into another bar fight that should have killed him.
“I can’t believe you,” I screamed at my brother as soon as I broke down his locked door.
“Why do آپ always have to break down my door,” complained Lucine, his chin length black hair sticking up all over the place like it always does in the morning.
“You always lock your door knowing that I’ll break it down,” I replied.
“The movers will be here in a few hours,” mumbled my brother.
“I’m guessing that the movers are your friends,” I asked in something مزید like a sentence.
“Yes, and I assume that our sisters have packed everything of yours,” Lucine کہا confidently.
“I’m sure they did while I was sleeping,” I کہا thoughtfully.
“Why don’t آپ get changed before my دوستوں get here,” suggested Lucine.
“Yeah I probably should get ready. I doubt they would want to see me in this outfit,” I agreed pulling down the too short pajama سب, سب سے اوپر my sisters insist I wear.
“Trust me they wouldn’t mind, it would just be harder for them to work,” my brother corrected me as I went back to my room to get ready. He loved correcting me when it came to his friends.
I looked around my room to see what my sisters had left out for me to wear today. Then I saw it. It was a dark brown, leather تقسیم halter, halter, اگاڑی سب, سب سے اوپر and one of my many gothic miniskirts. The only thing about this outfit that I could’ve gone without was the pair black leather stiletto boots. I was going to break my neck in these things! I didn’t know how to walk in heels let alone stilettos! I put the outfit on anyways. I just didn’t want to be forced into the boots.
“Hey guys, she’s actually wearing the outfit,” called my sister, Aleera, down the hall.
“What,” asked all my sisters that were now running into my room to see what I looked like. They all gasped as soon as they saw me.
“You look great,” exclaimed Verona wearing her پسندیدہ green تقسیم halter, halter, اگاڑی سب, سب سے اوپر and skinny jean. She had her shoulder length red hair up in a ponytail.
“You’re going to need to practice walking in those heels for an گھنٹہ یا two before the guys get here,” Elvira declared the obvious wearing her “moving clothes”, a pair of red running pants and hoodie. Her mid back length hair hanging down in loose braids.
“I told آپ guys that if we stayed within her boundaries with the color scheme she would wear it,” stated Alla. She was the tallest of all of us. She wore گلبہار, گل داؤدی Duke Shorts and a too tight light gray shirt. Her hair changed at her will, today it was waist length and midnight black.
“Let her actually breathe and walk آپ three,” complained Aleera. She was wearing one of my least پسندیدہ outfits that I owned, a bright گلابی sleeveless سب, سب سے اوپر and bright گلابی kapris. Her سٹرابیری, اسٹرابیری blonde hair was up in a bun دکھانا off her گلابی hoop earrings. She loved گلابی way too much. I swear I was adopted because I was nothing like my sisters.
    “Thank you,” I thanked Aleera.
    “You’re welcome,” she replied.

Ding dong went the door گھنٹی, بیل when the guys got here.
“Hi boys,” کہا my mother way too cheerful for my taste.
“Hi,” کہا the boys in unison once they were all in the door.
    “Hi,” I کہا meekly.
“Hi. How are آپ A,” responded one of the seven boys. I couldn’t see him so he must’ve been in the back.
“I’m fine, how’re آپ Jareth,” I asked as soon as I recognized the voice.
“I’m doing better knowing that I can help آپ move,” replied Jareth.
“I’m guessing we all have our own movers,” I کہا to Nardia.
    “Yes we do,” she replied.

“So what’ve آپ been up to,” asked Jareth once we were in his truck after moving all of my boxes into the بستر of it. He had blue- black hair that was shoulder length when it was combed down like it was today. He wore gothic and rocker clothing. He liked to mix and match the two styles. His beautiful almost black eyes were never as cold when he was with than when he didn’t know I was watching and he was with other people. He had a tattoo of a dragon encircling his arm, and several piercings on his cartilage and on his bottom lip.
“Not really much now a days,” I replied staring at him because he could talk to me like we were best of دوستوں while I had to try to act calmly around him and not blush. I had a huge crush on him and he had an equally as big crush on me.
    “Why,” he asked.
“I have been and always will be an outcast in every town I live in,” I replied a little caught off guard سے طرف کی his question.
“You won’t be as much of an outcast in this town, I swear it,” he کہا this so confidently I couldn’t help but believe him.
    “How do آپ know that?”
“You’ll be with me,” he replied.
I was stunned to hear this.
I was quiet so long that he must’ve gotten worried about me because he asked me, “Are آپ all right?”
“Yeah, just a little stunned that…” I trailed off.
“That your mom is moving آپ to my city,” he supplied.
“Yeah, what city is she moving me to anyway?”
“Mine…”
“I know that, I meant what’s the name of the city.”
“She’s moving آپ to Toledo, Ohio. Hey, before I forget, there’s this dance at school coming up and I was hoping that آپ would go with me instead of anyone else,” he کہا a little sheepishly.
“I’m not even in school yet and you’re asking me this?”
“Just answer the سوال before I pullover and drop آپ سے طرف کی the side of the road and wait until آپ call me with an answer for me to come back to pick آپ up,” he threatened.
“Fine I’ll go with you,” I answered partly because I wanted to and also because I didn’t want to be stuck on the side of the road.
“Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.”
It was quiet for a couple hours as we drove. Then Jareth turned the radio onto my پسندیدہ station. Luckily my پسندیدہ song was on and he didn’t mind me blasting the radio while he was driving. I started rockin’ out, then when the song was over he turned down the volume chuckling.
“Guess آپ like that song to,” asked Jareth still chuckling.
“Like it, I love that song,” I did my best to sound outraged. This made him laugh even harder.
“Don’t worry, I rock out to the song when I’m not driving and also when I’m alone in the house. I’ve been caught سے طرف کی Athan a couple of times. He کہا the اگلے time he caught me doing that he was going to take a video of it and post it on the internet.” Athan was Jareth’s twin brother. They would’ve been identical if Jareth wouldn’t have grown out his hair, and Athan didn’t keep dying his hair different colors.
“I have never been caught once yet.”
“Well then good job and good luck when my brother starts spying on you.”
“Let me guess آپ either live اگلے door to me یا across the street.”
“It’s across the street. I’ll do my best to keep him from spyin’ but I can’t promise آپ anything,” he کہا finally turning his head to look at me, he’d been blushing. I could tell because he was still blushing just a little bit.
“Thanks, I bet my sisters would encourage him.”
“They probably would.”
We were silent for another two یا three songs. Then we pulled up to the house. It was an ancient, three story, pale blue mansion with the paint chipping of quite a bit. I knew that my mother would paint it in the summer no matter how appropriate I thought the color was.
“Wow,” I کہا unable to think of any other words to describe how I felt about the house.
“It’s unbelievable that this house is in its original form with no restorations یا anything like that isn’t it?”
“No restoration at all,” I asked in a stunned voice.
“None what so ever.”
“Not even new paint jobs?”
“Nope. The people that built it were gothic vampires like you.”
“Like me?”
“Yeah, your mom didn’t tell you?”
“No not at all. She never tells me anything when we’re about to اقدام houses.”
“Then I guess she never told آپ that she was going to keep it in its original state, no new paint jobs یا anything. She’s not even going to sell it. She’s going to give it to آپ when you’re finally an adult and married.”
“She is,” I asked excited now that I knew why she allowed Jareth to be my mover.
“Yeah.”
“I’m also guessing that in two years آپ and I will get married.”
“That would be correct. I don’t know why though.”
