Do u feel certain game series are starting to lose their essences and feels which what made them very مقبول and successful from the beginning?

Oh, Assassin's Creed. That franchise became boring with Brotherhood, and even Black Flag has not managed to appeal to me yet.

Assassin's Creed needs a MASSIVE overhaul to win me back, and not just a minor change of engine, like in Assassin's Creed III. The boring combat system has GOT to go, it needs to become challenging, so taking on hundreds of guards should become مزید of a non-option again, like in the original Assassin's Creed.

From the franchises آپ stated, I totally agree with the Pokémon series. Pokémon X and Y were pretty big disappointments, imo. Poké Mon Ami was a lousy addition, and the EXP. Share gives the ENTIRE party part of the earned experience, so training your Pokémon takes less times. But grinding has been part of the foundation of the Pokémon series since دن 1, so there was just a major part of the game missing for me. It was just way too easy... :(

The Fable series... well, the سیکنڈ and third ones were good, though not as good as the original, but the one for the kinect... Brrr...

The Paper Mario series has also gone downhill. The first one was excellent, the سیکنڈ one was even better, but the third one was... well, I don't really want to go into detail. It just makes me angry.

In fact, I think Mario games in general are being dummed down.

Oh and... I don't think anyone's going to agree with me on this, since it's not a مقبول view, but... Skyward Sword? Meh. I don't think it lives up to it's predecessors. The two DS games, too, (PH and ST) lack... something... something important. Maybe it's just me.

Oh and, in general, the موسیقی in video games hasn't been as good, lately (in my opinion). Did Koji Kondo retire, یا something?

I really do believe that FFXV will be their time to come back in the spotlight though.

Resident Evil. The last good game was 4, which ironically also triggered the whole "action-packed" direction of the game that made it slowly descend into mediocrity. Silent ہل, لندن as well.

Also I wholeheartedly disagree with Metal Gear Solid, Pokemon and Mortal Kombat. Those franchises are still alive and kicking, and the last games released for them were good.

Sonic the Hedgehog was the first thing that came to mind. While Generations was a good way to get the franchise back on it's feet, the modern games haven't been very good the past few years.

As much as I don't like to admit it for some reason, the Sonic games like Sonic and the Black Knight, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic and the Secret Rings, and Sonic Lost World (I still haven't finished that one, so my opinion may change in the future. And don't even get me started on Sonic '06...) just don't seem like Sonic games at all. Sega has been trying all of this different stuff to get Sonic "likeable" (really couldn't think of a better way to say it) again that it always results in the شائقین being either utterly disappointed یا just confused.

I can't wait to see what ELSE they have in store for the new game coming out...(really, Sega? As if buff Knuckles wasn't enough??)
