Real men love Disney, and celebrities are no exception. Whether they’re taking dates to Disneyland, watching classic Disney movies, or finding inspiration in the wisdom of Walt, there’s something undeniably charming about Disney-loving dudes. To keep us smiling on days that could use a little magic, we compiled a list of some of our favorite guys talking about our favorite thing.
This former Mouseketeer (and current dreamboat) celebrated his 30th birthday at Disneyland, button and all. There’s something special about a guy who can choose anywhere in the world to spend his birthday, and chooses The Happiest Place on Earth.
He also explained what makes Disneyland special to him to the Independent: “What’s so interesting to me is that the attention to detail there never gets old. There’s always something new to find, something they’ve thought of. And there is always the idea of somebody who had a dream and made it so real you can walk around in it.”
Besides being a man of many talents and an all-around cutie, JGL also has great taste. His favorite film is Dumbo, and he recently explained why to the Huffington Post: “It’s one of the first movies that I remember seeing with my mother. That scene where Dumbo’s mom reaches through the cage bars and cradles him in her trunk? So classic. I still put it on now and then, and always have a good cry.”
We would watch Dumbo with you and wipe away the tears, JGL. Just say the word.
What can be said about a real-life Disney Prince? In Tom’s own words, from an interview with Moviefone: “I’ve always been a huge fan of Disney. It was always a huge part of my childhood, and all of the animated films, like The Jungle Book and Aladdin and Robin Hood, those are the ones of my childhood anyway. And the live-action stuff, like Mary Poppins and Bedknobs and Broomsticks.”
Clearly Tom has taken a page or two from classic Disney princess movies, because this is the same man who told Run-Riot: “I think if you’re going to be conventionally romantic you’ve got to go all the way: a beautiful dinner somewhere lovely, with boat-loads of flowers, chocolates and champagne.”
In related news, whoever dates Tom Hiddleston automatically becomes the luckiest girl in the world.
Captain America has many things going for him, and one of them is a timeless love for Disney. His mom told GQ, “At 30, he still knows all the words to songs from The Little Mermaid.” Chris, if you ever need someone to sing a duet with, we know all the words too. Just throwing that out there.
Chris is also a Disney Parks fan, having visited both Disneyland and Disney World in recent years with his family. We imagine the Marvel attractions in Anaheim were of particular interest.
Let’s face it: Neil Patrick Harris is a member of the most adorably perfect family in existence. But his connections to Disney go deeper than just having a fairy tale life. He’s a Disney Parks fixture, serving as both a celebrity narrator of the Candlelight Processional at Epcot and host of the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade in 2013. He’s also told the Orlando Sentinel that he’s an animatronics aficionado: “I’m a big fan of old-school Audio-Animatronics, so I also am a big Spaceship Earth fan. Haunted Mansion is probably one of my favorite designs ever, so I always have to go see that.” You can even hear him in the recorded spiels before riding California Screamin’ at Disney California Adventure.

NPH, we’d build a snowman with you any day.
