Does Neal earn money for his help?

Call it a stupid question, but I was wondering. I mean he gets the 700 یا something to pay for his place at Junes, and I guess he eats there aswell, but, well there are other occasions where آپ just need some cash, right?
I haven´t seen many Episodes yet, sadly, so I don´t know if it was ever mentioned.
