"I thought آپ were dead," he whispered sullenly. "I never found آپ after that night. No one could, not even the police. Not even Bruce. Or, آپ know, Batman. I-I just couldn't stand the fact of me being the only one left. Where did آپ go? What happened to you?"
I looked down towards the cars driving past. I'm not in the mood to actually, well, say it, I told him telepathically. However, I will gladly think it.

But it worked. He continued to experiment on me, always reassuring me that it would be over soon. It never was. It was like a never ending flame, burning my body. I told him this. It was my biggest mistake, and my greatest accomplishment.
That's how he got the idea for my powers of flame. He messed up the first time- that's why I have to deal with the twenty feet thing. But the سیکنڈ time, the literal meaning came into effect. I could now control fire.

We sat there until we fell asleep, and the deep of the night engulfed us, the Gemini constellation burning in the sky.
But we had no idea we were being watched.
