"Dick, I swear to god, if آپ ever do that again, there's going to be a burning fist in your face."
Laughing, my idiotic brother dashed off towards his room. It had been three weeks since I joined the team and there was a total acceptance factor between me and everyone else. Even if I did have some problems at ہوم with my brother.
"Ugh." I sat down in a computer chair and looked at the room Bruce had دیا me. It was frickin' huge. Not only did I have a queen sized bed, but there was a 3D tv, a blu-ray DVD player, a Macbook pro, an iPad, and who could forget a closet bigger than my actual wardrobe? I picked up my Macbook and surveyed the damage done- to my Facebook, Twitter, and other accounts. "Stupid freaking hacking brother."
A sound behind me startled my attention for a second. I began to turn, but-
I gasped as a hand wrapped around my neck and mouth. I struggled against the person who was attempting to suffocate me, and soon tried to use my powers. I was met with a sharp sting to the arm and suddenly everything became numb. Warm and numb. I began to slip in and out of consciousness, when I heard my attacker say,
"See آپ in the morning."
There was the shink of a blade being drawn, the sound of engulfing flame, and then there was an icey feeling in my leg. And that's when I blacked out into sheer, cold, wetness.

The lights of the hospital were dim and unwelcoming- یا maybe that was just my blurred and pained vision. I had been bombarded with nurses, surgeons, and others. I still had no idea why. Bruce wouldn't speak, and Dick just kept saying "You're going to make it. I promise you, you're going to make it through this." And if I could speak I would have been like, Make it through what? But I couldn't speak. So I didn't ask.
The worst part was not being able to اقدام for so many hours, یا for what seemed like hours anyways. There wasn't much cold, only numb now. But everything was dizzy and... and... how else could I describe it?
Just blurry and dizzy. And dim. Very, very dim.
It's not like I couldn't do anything though. And, over the weeks, I did get a little better. Okay, a lot better. And it wasn't so dim یا blurry یا dizzy anymore, I could think straight now. And when I looked down at what I'd been in the hospital for, I nearly fainted again.
There on my leg was a huge cut, swollen and burnt, tied with stitches. "What in the hell..." I muttered. I gingerly touched the scar, and felt the heat practically radiating from it. Whoever had attacked me was extremely skilled in poisons and fire.
"It's pretty bad, huh?"
I turned to see Dick- no, not Dick. Robin and the team. "Um, yeah, pretty, uh, pretty bad," I replied, trying to be modest and not burst out happily and relieved saying "ROBIN!!!" and jumping up to hug him like I know I would have if I had no self control.
"Know how it happened?" K.F. asked.
Hmm. Lemme think. I'm the newly found daughter of a freaking billionaire, how the hell do آپ think it happened, Wally?! "No."
"Do آپ know who did it?" Aqualad this time. I sighed internally and shook my head. Now Quicksilver asked,
"What happened? That آپ can remember of course- not trying to stress آپ out."
Finally, something I could answer fully. And this kid was so darn sweet! "Well, I was in my room and, uh, I was on my computer and, um, somebody grabbed me from behind, tried to suffocate me, and, like, injected me with this numbing toxin یا whatever. Then I couldn't feel anything, and I was suddenly on the floor, and like, this person pulled a blade out and set it on آگ کے, آگ and tore open my leg. That last part I'm just assuming, 'cuz, uh, I couldn't really see much. And there's a huge gaping scar on my leg and crap, so logically thinking- I mean, uh, it just seems like that's what happened." I covered myself up along the way, and I personally think I did very nicely.
The team asked a couple مزید questions, then left me alone. As I closed my electric blue eyes for a very welcome sleep, the last thought on my mind was, Who called 9-1-1?
