Zero was just reading quietly in his پسندیدہ coffee دکان when he heard a familiar laugh. Crap! he thought. I guess my book will have to wait. Zero longingly put his book down as three guys headed his way.
“Zero!”
Forcing a smile, Zero stood and greeted the red haired demon.
“Hi Teague.”
“Why the bored tone?” Teague asked.
“I was reading a good book,” Zero answered.
A brown haired boy gave Zero a sympathetic smile while the blonde grabbed the book.
“You were reading a medical dictionary?”
“Just because آپ don't understand it Terror doesn't mean it's boring.”
Teague laughed at this and Zero took his book back.
“Dude it's a dictionary!” Terror exclaimed. He looked over at the brown haired boy. “You agree with me, right Zeth?”
Zeth put his hands up, stating he wasn't getting into it. Teague put a hand on Terror's shoulder.
“Admit it Terror. Zero is the boy genius.”
“And you, Teague, are drunk!”
Terror moved and Teague stumbled. He grabbed hold of a chair before he fell.
“You're an پچھواڑے, گدا Terror.”
Terror smirked. Zero rolled his eyes and paid for his drink before walking out of the shop. The others followed behind him.
“Why'd آپ leave Zero?” Terror asked.
“Because I don't want آپ and Teague getting in a fight in the store.”
“We weren't going to fight!” Teague shouted.
Zeth smiled and continued without a word. They ended up in the park and Terror, being the devious hybrid he was, cast an illusion in front of Teague. The demon screamed and Terror laughed.
“You ass! I'm going to kill you!”
Teague chased after Terror. Zero and Zeth walked to sit in the shade and watched. Terror was quick on his feet and was using all his agility to avoid Teague, who was doing pretty well for being drunk. Zero pulled out his book and started reading again. Both Zero and Zeth ducked when Terror came running their way and jumped into the tree. Teague came after him slower and fell down at Zeth's feet.
“Okay Terror آپ bastard. آپ win. This time.”
Terror jumped out of the درخت and landed beside Zero. His face was suddenly hit with a blast of ice cold water.
“Teague!”
The demon was laughing to hard to respond. He let out a yip when Terror advanced towards him. Teague jumped to his feet and took off. Terror went after him. Zeth smiled and tipped his head back.
“This is fun,” he said.
Zero nodded, lost in his book. And that's how it went for the rest of the day.

Prologue-
Sam tripped falling flat on his face in the mud. He stumbled up and continued running. Behind him he could hear the sound of a horse's hooves in hot pursuit and a چادر, فرغل billowing through the grass.
"Pick up!" he whispered hoarsely into his microphone.
A rope leapt out at his ankles and tripped him.causing him to fall again. The grain in the field he was surrounded in clung to him. Sam rolled over to see Reaper's head blocking the crimson moon above. Reaper cocked a gun and pointed it at Sam's face.
"And now I finish it." he said, and pulled the trigger.

This was her chance. Sydney jumped up and swung her arms under her legs so that her hands were in front of her. Quickly she swung around, hitting the guard behind her and knocking him out. Ty noticed, and lunged at her. She quickly dodged, grabbing the key for her handcuffs off the guard with the few سیکنڈ that she had earned. Before she could unlock them though, Ty was able to get back up and start kicking at her. Sydney dodged almost all, except one that sharply entered her stomach. Stumbling over, Sydney dropped the key, “Crap.” She calmly mumbled. Ty threw a مککا, عجیب الخلقت at her; she ducked and rolled under him. She grabbed the key and quickly unlocked her cuffs. Sydney sent a مککا, عجیب الخلقت toward Ty, who smartly dogged it and sent on back in return.
