well the premiere I liked... Silas was awesome and he doesnt need to hide who he really is... poor stefan ... Delena ewww too much like I always though sex, sex and sex... although it was nice to watch damon so happy but elena is like a bitch, who doesnt care about nothing... I honestly feel like he just saved Caroline instead of Rebekah because he rationalized it as them being able to kill Caroline, but not Rebekah. Where Rebekah is an original, I just assumed that she would eventually heal from the werewolf bite. Maybe I'm wrong? But if it were that easy to kill an original, it kind of makes the whole Alaric being turned into the big bad with the indestructible stake kind of pointless when they could've just used werewolf venom and been done with it.
